    Passed away at the age of 35. Obviously had a lot of off the field problems over the years, but at his peak he was a terrific player.

    Afaik the main sponsor Genesis want it to be held there. I'd much rather see it at somewhere like Dundonald. You then also have to factor in that members don't want to hand over their club for a couple of weeks in the middle of summer, and the loss of income that entails.

    Noticed that Scott Jamieson and David Drysdale were in the field for the Barbasol Championship on the PGA Tour as part of the "strategic alliance". Unfortunately Drysdale has WD, but Jamieson is -6 after a 67 today and tied 30th.
