  1. He has stepped it up a bit at the same time as Draper has dropped a little, De Minaur breaks Draper in the first game of the 3rd set.
  2. This match between Draper and De Minaur is an utter slugfest. Draper took the first set 7-5, second set on serve so far.

  4. Andy to win the tiebreak and prolong the agony.
  5. I don't think Isner has ever played any better against Andy in any of the 8 defeats, his all round game has been excellent unfortunately.
  6. 3 Tests to come, almost certainly a few injuries, why bother sending folk home?
  7. Tayport v Petershill on Saturday has been cancelled as Tayport don't have enough players.
  8. She certainly had the perfect storm in New York, but I think it's symptomatic of how little there is between most of the women's players. Lots of seeds tumbling out early as seems to be normal at all the slams now on the women's side.
  9. Cam Norrie's opponent has seized up after going 2-1 up, Norrie win the 4th set 6-0 and the 5th has started in similar style.
  10. An end to the Boubekri saga. Guessing a profit for Cumnock for a guy who never kicked a ball for them.
  11. One thing I didn't realise until some of the recent LIV pressers is how horrible life is for a PGA Tour player. Yesterday with Reed, Perez and Koepka all moaning about travel and the schedule etc. Koepka's last 4 tourneys were a WGC and 3 majors, he's hardly overworked as it is. Perez was at least honest to say it's like a lottery win for him, but he was slating the Saudis just months ago.

  13. Got to hand it to Tan, whole crowd was against her, a superb win for her.
  14. The PGA are also bringing back Q school, a decade after they scrapped it.
  15. Think she though that was it won when she broke to go 5-4 up. Now she is 6-5 down and serving to get the match into a tiebreak.
  16. The field for the John Deere this week is going to be very weak, with a lot of players either heading to the Irish Open or having a week off. Daniel Berger at 25 on the OWGR was the highest ranked player in the field, but he withdrew injured today.
  17. See a few journos up in the arms at the DP Tour admitting it's now a feeder for the PGA Tour. I don't see the fuss tbh as it's been that for years imo. In terms of cold hard cash, ranking points and prestige, then the PGA tour is way ahead. It's a huge carrot for players like Bob MacIntyre.
  18. Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced to 20 years over sex trafficking - BBC News And still all of her "clients" go unpunished.
  19. Liam Broady through in 5 sets. After listening to fucking Inverdale earlier it was quite refreshing to listen to a game with no commentary.
  20. Sandy Lyle retired hurt after 1 hole of his second round. Daniel Kay the only Scot in with a chance of qualifying for the open, but looks like he'll be in a playoff at St. Anne's Old Links.
