  1. 200 partnership for Root and Bairstow, Root moves on to 99.
  2. This will be finished before lunch.
  3. Odds of Poulter and co being last out on Thursday and first out on Friday?
  4. Wordle 381 5/6 [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833]
  5. Only 3 players involved in the court case, Poulter, Otaguie and Harding. It only let's them play until their appeal is heard, their case was heard earlier by some court I've never heard of. First bit of sense from McDowell in months earlier when he said that he wouldn't be getting involved in court cases as he doesn't want to play somewhere he isn't welcome. https://bunkered.co.uk/golf-news/liv-rebels-win-legal-challenge-to-play-scottish-open
  6. Must be a bit strange at the JP McManus Pro-Am at Adare Manor with a mixture of LIV, DP and PGA Tour players involved. And then you add Monahan and Pelley into the mix as they are both playing. Jordan Speith managed to get DQ'd as he got caught up in the pro-am element and forgot to putt out on one of the holes. Tiger hit a 5 over 77, but he was a shot better than Matt Fitzpatrick.
  7. I can't see them not getting there, even if Bairstow or Root go quickly tomorrow then you would expect Stokes and Billings to be able to get them over the line.
  8. Slight wobble from Rafa at the end of the 3rd set but he gets it done in the tiebreak.
  9. He's been an excellent addition to the comms team. Will anyone ever break his run of 79 consecutive grand slam main draw appearances? Oe even get close?
  10. Is Bairstow changing bat a sign?
  11. India? Who at worst are drawing the series even if they lose? [emoji1787]
  12. Free entry once again for the last day tomorrow, with a request for donations instead to be made to the Bob Willis Foundation.
  13. Just to add to the above, Poulter was 50th at the time of the DP Tour Championship last autumn, he's now 100th. The likes if Westwood and Mickelson won't be far behind in dropping out the top 100. DJ is now the highest ranked LIV player at 17th, but he has lots of points dropping off soon.
  14. Dreadful review by India, that always looked to have pitched outside leg.
  15. As we've mentioned on here, the guys on the LIV who don't have any major exemptions are going to struggle to qualify as their OWGR tanks. Here's how it looks from one of the No Laying Up podcast guys on Twitter.
  16. And England in a bit of trouble now, losing 3 wickets for 2 runs, with Lees and Root causing Lees to be run out after Pope had gone first ball after tea.
  17. 2 sets all now, with Kyrgios tanking the last game of the 4th set, serving at 3-5 down. Cracking tennis player, without a fully functioning brain.
  18. Wicket. Crawley lets one go that he shouldn't have.
  19. 100-0 from 19.5 overs. Dream start for England, nightmare for India.
  20. Our course is closed this week as we are hosting the Scottish Under 16s Boys Championship. An international field including boys playing off +6. The folk who have been up watching practice today have said the ability levels are off the scale. Seems the French boys have a stinking level of arrogance though, with replacing divots and raking bunkers beneath them.
  21. Great start for England, aided by some awful bowling by India. A quickfire 70-0.
  22. England need 378 to win, it can be done but won't be easy. Need the top 3 batsmen to contribute something as there looks to be plenty in the pitch. 281 is the previous highest successful chase at Edgbaston.
