For some reason known only to themselves the peleton have put the hammer down and are closing the gap rapidly, now under 5 minutes. Cavendish 5 minutes behind the peleton with Jakobsen a further 2+ minutes back.

Another up and down day in store today. Nothing masive but enough to give chances for a break.

It was, I always use the same opening word, then have a back up second guess that uses none of the same letters. Think that's only thd 2nd of 3rd time that both words have drawn a total blank. I used 15 unique letters in my first 3 guesses and only got 2 hits.

From memory they give more leeway when there is a lot of climbing and/or the weather is bad. I think they are deliberately vague so they can bend the rules to suit so they don't have to cut a lot of riders for missing the time on any given day.

Even by Saffers standards that's a hell of a bed shitting. 95% on the win predictor, 30 needed at a run a ball with 6 wickets in hand. Absolute collapse after Klaasen was out.

Been watching quite a few of her videos at break times at work. Really good interviews with Adam Scott, former Scotland rugby skipper Stuart McInally and Butch Harmon among others. Her latest one was with Jamie Dornan on the isle of Iona where the course is mainly maintained by the sheep.

Watching the Andy Murray documentary on BBC1 and getting a bit misty eyed. Sad to think that someone who has delivered some of the greatest sporting moments of my lifetime may just have one last swansong left, or even worse might be finished already. -

Morgan should be in the running to be their next coach, but you know the ECB will f**k it up somehow or give Mott a new deal instead of helping him pack. The only thing you can say in Moeen and Bairstow's defence is that it's not their fault that idiots keep picking them. Last night must be the final fling for a chunk of the England side.

It's certainly been a very poor tournament for them, pumped the teams they should but got reamed by the Aussies and India. Still think the way Scotland had started against them we were going to post a good score.
