The Augusta we are allowed to see is always in great nick, it turns brown in late summer.

Stuck on the ANGC Women's Amateur and it looks in great nick. Lottie Woad birdied 15, 17 and 18 to win by 1. Scotland's Hannah Darling was 7th.

I really don't see how PML is still in the job, the team has gone backwards under him. So many infuriating displays, so many simple passes that are half a yard or a yard astray leading to possession being lost.

Next week will be the first time since 1985 there hasn't been a Scot in the Masters field. Quite a few times Sandy Lyle has been the only one.

To the surprise of nobody our captain's start has been cancelled tomorrow and the course closed until Sunday at the earliest.
