  1. Fucking lunacy imo. Obviously it will look like genius play calling if they get the TD, but surely you kick the FG?
  2. Antonio Brown out for the rest of the game then? [emoji1787]
  3. Hilton gets a TD catch that should have been picked off, 2 defenders knock it away from each other and he was in the right place to catch the rebound.
  4. Took me years to get into the mindset of realising that especially on the first tee, everybody else is worrying too much about their own shot to give a shit about yours. I always try and get there early enough now to hit some balls in the practice net, and the last few that I hit will be with the club that I plan on using off the first. It amazes me how many golfers with a half decent handicap roll up with hardly any time to spare, hit a few practice putts, then have a strop when they hit a duffer off the 1st tee.
  5. My wife and daughter have both had Covid months apart from each other, and I tested negative on both occasions.
  6. I wouldn't wait that long. I had a PCR in September on a Sunday morning after being flagged up as a close contact. Phoned the number on the test receipt card on the Tuesday, turned out the clueless bint who had booked me in hadn't logged the test against my name properly, so the test result was in the system but didn't have a name tagged to it. Got the results 30 seconds after the phone call ended.
  7. Gabriel off, absolute stupidity for both bookings.
  8. Mahrez scores. Silva was playing for a pen imo, but if Xhaka doesn't grab his jersey then he doesn't get one.
  9. Soft penalty for City but a very clumsy challenge by Xhaka.
  10. Saw this picture on Twitter the other day. It may or may not have influenced my decision to pick Richard O'Sullivan and Mike Yarwood.
  11. Tell me you raced Paris-Roubaix without telling me you raced Paris-Roubaix...
  12. 27-6 win for Alabama, comfortable win in the end. Defense came up with a lot of big plays when needed.
  13. Watching the rerun just now, Alabama certainly don't look as fluent on offense as they did last year, but their defense has strangled the life out of Cincinnati. 24-6 to Alabama early in the 4th quarter.
  14. Fantastic stuff from The Sunday Sport.
  15. A record breaking year for England, none of it good 'England's Ashes defeat caps a record-breakingly bad year' - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/59825697
  16. I went over the Kingston Bridge this morning and there were two lanes closed due to an accident, namely a car embedded on the barrier at the West Street off ramp. I've attached a pic from google maps, it's not the first time I've seen that bit damaged, but this guy had hit it dead centre. There was a lot of surface water at the time and I can only assume he tried to head for the slip road too late and was going too fast.
  17. Ended up a cracking finish. Sixers were 47-8, but hung in there and needed 2 off the last over, it came down to the last ball, which Sean Abbott managed to thread through a crowded infield to win it.
  18. Watching the Sixers v the Heat in the BBL. Been some very ordinary batting, but there have been several superb catches. Heat scored 105, Sixers currently 36-7 after 10 overs.
  19. They've got a lot of tough series to play before the next Ashes too, so it's going to be hard to introduce fresh blood into an already struggling team. Your point about the county championship is spot on, they've prioritised all the short forms of the game and young guys coming through all want to play those, as that's where the quick pay days are. I like Root, but I think he hasn't dug his heels in enough at times as skipper. The rotation farce last winter was one. He also doesn’t get on to his bowlers quick enough when they are chucking pies. To go to India with anything less than your best team was madness. He should have been insisting the best squad available went there, even if it meant effectively a B squad went to Sri Lanka without him too if necessary. If he decides to throw in the towel as captain then god knows who they turn to, there's hardly anyone else guaranteed a place in the team on current form.
  20. Sad news, probably like many on here I learned a lot about the rules, plays and tactics from playing Madden on various consoles over the years. A voice that will forever be ingrained in my memory.
