  1. You've lost me with this one tbh. Ourselves, Rossvale and a few other Junior clubs have played home matches at Petershill Park and charged admission no problem, Glasgow City charge for all their home league matches and champions league ties at Petershill Park. The home club rents the ground from the council, and they can then charge admission to their match.
  2. Aye, imagine the World Health Organisation looking at the big picture worldwide, where cases are still going up at a terrifying rate in some places, rather than thinking it's almost over because Scotland are down to just about single figure deaths per week.
  3. Watched that a few weeks back, and just watched Athlete A. The abusers are sickening enough, but the fuckers who enable them and turn a blind eye are just as bad.
  4. Aye, they let him cut inside far too easily.
  5. And as often happens, City go up the park and score a couple of minutes later. Game over?
  6. Premier, 1, 2 and 3 for me, the "championship" can get in the sea.
  7. I haven't been in the town during the day for months, but I was nightshift on Thursday night and had to go to a breakdown under the Central Station bridge about half past midnight, the town is very eerie at that time of night withnext to nobody around.
  8. I will be very surprised if the clubs stick to thise cringeworthy names again. Let's bloody hope so. Any word on what the proposed names are?
  9. Haven't seen any games, but who would have thought that Gatlandball might not work in one of the most attack minded leagues in the world.
  10. Who/where you going to? I had a bunch of lessons from an ex PGA tour pro, my chipping was decent enough but he improved my bunker play no end. I've still got a lesson to get from him, delayed because of lockdown.
  11. Police have said it was a targeted attack and poses no threat to the wider public. So aye, just a normal slashing.
  12. Golfer Liam Johnston has been introducing his girlfriend to the delights the game has to offer. Looks like it's going well so far.
  13. Not surprisingly, the course closed signs are up this morning, it's been hammering it down all night.
  14. I would hazard a guess that in most knife crime incidents in Scotland that the perpetrator has long departed the scene by the time the police show up.
  15. No doubt the UK government made mistakes, but the good old US of A is plotting a course unlike anybody else.
  16. Exactly. The laws regarding police firearm use here would have triggered an investigation even if the attacker hadn't been killed.
  17. My mate used to be an armed response officer, they are trained to target the torso as it's the biggest target and the easiest bit to hit.
  18. Yep, as posted further up, there will be an investigation into the circumstances that led to an officer discharging his firearm, never mind the fact he killed somebody. There could be an inquest to decide if the killing was lawful or unlawful depending on what the original investigation shows up. It would appear that Danny Shaw from the BBC was the first to mention deaths quoting a Whitehall source. Not surprisingly his tweet that mentioned that has long since been deleted.
  19. A formal investigation into the police responses has begun, which is normal procedure when an officer discharges his firearm, even more so when it results in a death. Where did the initial 3 dead story originate though? Did the BBC pluck that from Twitter and run with it for a while?
