    Was certainly the rumour last weekend. They are also saying that Smith and Boucher have virtually begged Dwaine Pretorius not to sign a Kolpak deal in England, and it seems he will stay in South Africa.

    Not a keen follower by any means, but do watch it on occasion if I am channel hopping and find it on. Had it on a few weeks ago and my daughter couldn't get her head around the fact that the distance they were jumping would go from our back door into the school at the other side of the playing fields behind our house.

    I think for the openers batting time is just as important as scoring runs, with the ball they use down there if you can hang about for 25-30 overs then you are making it a lot easier for the guys coming in after you.

    Rabada just swatted Curran into the stands for 6, a stunning shot. Curran snags Philander a couple of balls later, decent catch by Bairstow. England need 376 to win, and with dark skies at Centurion it looks tailor made for Rabada and Philander to cause havoc here.

    Definitely something far wrong with the way he is being used. As mentioned at lunch, he is bowling to the field that has been set for him, so somebody has decided that they want him to bowl endless short stuff. Whether that was him, the captain or the coach, it's a monumental blunder. Also worth nothing that for all he has bowled a lot of shite and has been expensive, he has managed to take 4 wickets.

    There was what can only be described as a frank exchange of views involving Root, Stokes and Broad in the huddle after one of the wickets was taken. None of the bowlers have performed well today, not just Archer that needs taken to task.
