  1. England lead by 98 for the loss of 1 wicket at lunch. I would suspect they would have bitten your hand off if offered that this morning.
  2. They'll either let Philander and Rabada add about 100 runs tomorrow, or will just do their standard batting collapse.
  3. Stokes has been bowling them all morning but has hardly been pinged. KP was on commentary earlier and was saying that in a recent test he was working on in India it was the 3rd umpire's job to check every ball for a no ball. That has to be the way forward.
  4. Broad gets van der Dussen, but turns out it's a big no ball. The ball really took off the pitch.
  5. I don't believe in ghosts, but it would be funny if he haunted Yvette Fielding for the rest of her days.
  6. Seen a fair bit of sniping between Glasgow and Edinburgh fans the last few days. I know Glasgow fans pay more, does anyone have the current figures for both teams? Why the disparity? Is it down to Glasgow having to pay to use Scotstoun?
  7. It's definitely a defendable score with an inexperienced batting line up for SA, but it doesn't take away from the fact so many England batsmen gave their wicket away cheaply yesterday. Van der Dussen reprieved on a DRS lbw review, not really sure how the umpire missed that big an inside edge.
  8. 3 down, du Plessis edging Anderson to the slips. SA in trouble now, 40-3.
  9. Don't think so, most reports seem to think it's just going to be wet and windy with very little chance of it turning to snow. 33°F is positively tropical compared to some recent play-off games.
  10. IIRC the woman didn't even get that far, I'm fairly sure he ran out the door when she carried in the galvanised bucket full of blood.
  11. They said at the start this morning that it was England's most inexperienced top 3 for 30 years.
  12. Storm Henry heading for Foxborough, and it's not Derrick. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/winter-storm-henry-in-the-forecast-for-patriots-titans-wild-card-matchup-in-foxborough/
  13. They still seem to be the only source, nothing official from the Cowboys or Garrett.
  14. 262-9 at the close, Pope on 56. Far too many batsmen got in and made a start, then contributed to getting themselves out.
  15. New ball coming up too, should be like shooting fish in a barrel for the Saffers.
  16. Buttler gone. That deja vu feeling again.
  17. I didn't say anywhere that the players had blamed the manager tbf, but what seems to be clear is that the Arsenal squad aren't fit enough to play the way Arteta wants them to. The stat they had the other night was that the team collectively had covered 9km more against Man Utd than in Emery's last match in charge. In both their last 2 games their performance has visibly tailed off in the second half, and against Man Utd especially, Torreira and a few others were visibly blowing out their arses.
  18. Denly bowled by Maharaj, 127-4.
  19. Know how you feel, I was in the same place at Xmas/New Year last year. The birthdays, anniversaries and the festive season are definitely the worst for giving you a swift boot in the balls to remind you that you are missing someone. This year has been a bit easier.
  20. Nortje gets Root, he was dropped a couple of balls earlier, but this time Root tries to duck a short one but it hits his glove and loops through to De Kock. 148 kph delivery. Ooft. 105-3.
