  1. Meant to post this last week, it's an Orica Green Edge mechanic cam view if the aftermath of the big crash on Stage 3.
  2. You certainly wouldn't want to hit one of these at those speeds! https://youtu.be/IPhdior9vBM
  3. Cavendish posted similar of his Facebook, he was on Kwiatowski's wheel.
  4. No idea, I was watching ITV!
  5. "I'm lost for words, that was unbelievable!" Not me, that's what Froome said after the stage.
  6. The @bythemin golf open preview podcast with Geoff Ogilvy as guest is well worth a listen. It's going to be different from most Old Course opens due to how wet the summer has been, the greens will probably be more receptive than usual. You can see from all the pictures how green the course looks.
  7. The team doctor stated that he has a 97/98% chance of making a full recovery, certainly hope so.
  8. Jeez. Best wishes to him for a full recovery. On the racing side it's a huge loss to Contador with the mountains just about to start.
  9. Rickie Fowler birdied three of the last 4 holes to beat Matt Kuchar by one shot to win the Scottish Open. Marc Warren had hit a 64 to sit as clubhouse leader for a couple of hours before finally being overtaken by those 2 and Jacquelin. Some difference from Fowler's US Open display, although that was probably due to being jinxed by my having backed him.
  10. Doubt it, and it wasn't just Sky that were being tested. BBC live text was reporting that bikes were being taken away for testing from other teams before Sky had even started.
  11. TTT today, could be quite a big difference in times as it's quite a lumpy course. No major climbs but enough ups and downs to cause problems, especially for teams who are a man or two down. IMO van Garderen will be in yellow tonight.
  12. Spieth hit a career best 61 yesterday to move into the lead at the John Deere.
  13. Just reading that if he had tested positive outside of competition then he would have got away with a slap on the wrist. Cocaine can stay in the system for around 3 weeks, and at 38 then he could well be finished.
  14. Absolute collapse on the cards now.
  15. Should be 97-2, not 90. Scotland were well beaten by the Netherlands in the T20 qualifiers.
  16. Jinxed again, Warner went last ball before lunch, 90-2.
  17. Different coach might be trying to instil a different mind set in him? Imo they batted today with the weather forecast for Sunday in mind, knowing that tomorrow will probably be the last full day's play.
  18. Froome not wearing yellow, not the first time that someone who has taken over the lead due to another rider's withdrawal has opted not to wear it. Contador managed to crash in the neutral zone this morning.
  19. It's been England's biggest failure recently, numerous times they've had opponents at 5 or 6 down and then been unable to finish them off.
  20. Seems Nibali thought Froome had caused the crash and he flung a water bottle at him, he later apologised to Froome. Watching it again this morning it's still one of the stranger crashes you will see, still can't see what caused Martin to veer so sharply to the right and go down.
  21. Gutted for him after working his arse off to get into yellow. Going to be a few teams who may struggle in the TTT as they will be short of bodies.
  22. Martin down on the final climb, still hasn't got back on the back yet. He will still get the same time as the rest though. Edit: he's being pushed up the hill by his team mates.
  23. @DavidWalshST Four riders forced to abandon following crash: Simon Gerrens (OGE), William Bonnet (FdJ), Tom Dumoulin (Giant) and Dmity Kozontchuk (Kat). Bonnet looked to be in a very bad way.
