  1. The far-sighted educated elite of society, of course, were putting their votes towards Kirstene Hair.
  2. Small brain: Russia killed a former spy Large brain: It was an MI6 job to fuel Russophobia in the general public Galactic brain: Theresa May killed him to take the Holyrood power grab off the 6 o clock news
  3. Really thought this thread was being brought back because of the march yesterday. Nice wee swerve lads.
  4. Eric Garland is a fucking legend. Still remember him responding to someone praising his “good work” boasting that he was tweeting on adderall and booze home alone like that isn’t fucking depressing.
  5. The best part about the Red menace resurfacing is the sincere belief from libs that a bunch of low paid trolls and bot accounts with a broken grasp of English had a more effective campaigning strategy than the Clintonite Democratic apparatus.
  6. That question’s the pertinent question though isn’t it? It’s not about whether we have the right to hold another referendum, we absolutely do. It’s whether the public at large can be motivated to give a shit again which is more difficult to gauge. I hope they are.
  7. He shifted his view because he felt comfortable taking an anti-EU stance when it never looked like he’d have to defend that stance as it occurred. Corbyn isn’t objectionable because of his euroscepticism, it’s completely fitting with his socialist outlook. He’s objectionable because he’s willing to overlook abusive elements of his immediate backers and because he’s willing to throw immigrants under the bus for votes.
  8. Nah it turns out that being a 70s class first socialist is STILL better than the people who will happily see everyone who earns under 24k burnt for fuel.
  9. Granny Danger is the literal “petty booj” poster on this forum. A small business owner with vested interests in the status quo.
  10. That’s the entire forum who’re conducting a public good. There’s nothing noble about our sub forum.
  11. I will sincerely say that I hope he takes a bullet.
  12. The worst part of his speech is he’s now opened a 7 point lead in the polls.
  13. The best posters on this sub forum are the ones who realised it’s a pointless endeavour and act accordingly. There’s about 15 of us on here and nobody is changing their mind at this point.
  14. Of course the biggest c**t in politics is the one who’s made ill advised comments on immigration not the ones who’ve actively deported LGBT asylum seekers to their deaths.
  15. It’s so easy to tell when he’s being serious though. The guy practically signposts when he’s taking the piss. Admitting that sometimes you just post shit for banter should hardly exclude from the good points that you make. This isn’t Holyrood, it’s a football forum populated by depressed alcoholic diddy team supporters.
  16. Any controls on immigration inevitably means detention and other abhorrent practices that we’re happy to subject brown people to while pretending it doesn’t happen.
  17. The generous readings people are trying to give it doesn’t excuse it whatsoever. It’s bad, unnecessary and is a large red flag for me.
  18. I can remember David Cameron generally polling higher than Brown in the lead up to 2010.
  19. It would be heavy complacent just to rely on people to trudge out and vote for EU membership. I don’t think people really view it with all that much enthusiasm do they? Years of constant negative press around it haven’t helped either.
  20. Praying Diane Abbott sees that and boots him up and down the office. No defence for that rhetoric whatsoever.
  21. Brexit on its own probably won’t shift the polls but marrying that oncoming disaster with a progressive vision should be enough to achieve it. Give people a reason to vote for something as well as highlighting the disaster that awaits voting against is probably key.
  22. Talk about ignoring, the second paragraph I edited in. Adopting a position then voting on it while debating all the other positions throughout the weekend seems like normal party procedure across the board... Doesn’t it?
  23. Surely two P&Bers could try and replicate this attempted call and prove once and for all who’s correct.
