  1. I was nearly convinced it was Karl Marx posting but there isn't enough chat about linen for that to be the case.
  2. It's good of him to spread around headlines about supporting unionism... Since he doesn't seem to support trade unionism.
  3. The only justifiable angle for that picture is that it's a still from an episode of Peep Show.
  4. I'll check that out. I don't really agree with a lot of what he says and find his voice a bit irritating but the topics Carlin explores are always interesting and he usually takes the discussion in an interesting direction.
  5. And they've the nerve to say it's the Muslims who've banned it.
  6. I don't want you to expand on your original point. I want to know why you're so thick and who's to blame so I can give them a slap.
  7. Europa's mechanics are much easier to understand and I think it's probably more accessible than CK2. Have spent hundreds of hours on both and would recommend either definitely. I'm not sure exactly how functional it is without the DLC (of which there's loads) but they're usually on sale so it's easy to pick and choose which ones sound appealing.
  8. I like Tibbermoresaint's idea that No voters can't complain if they don't turnout for a sham referendum. Maybe Sturgeon should hold another one and withhold the polling locations from anyone that isn't likely to vote Yes.
  9. Sorry we're not allowing actual context in this discussion. I think the Catalonians should look to the Paraguayans and shut their country for 40 years.
  10. Tibbermoresaint is going to be a great addition to the forum.
  11. My page keeps spasming and refusing to let me even see @Crùbag's post which is just as well as I can sorta see Vince Cable's weird head.
  12. That's probably why the Labour Party are still on an election footing since they're well placed to make up that small margin at the next election. Maybe if the SNP hadn't shitebagged it there would've been double that for 3rd place.
  13. An almost unprecedented massive swing in favour of Labour in the face of a hostile media, a divided party and a short timeframe would suggest the momentum is with Corbyn. It's really a case of Schrodinger's (or maybe Corbyn's?) Cat until the next election is called. Corbyn is both simultaneously going to win the next election and he's reached his zenith.
  14. I am the clever man who deals in absolutes. I don't remember the pre-election or any every single prediction on the formation of the UK parliament post-8th June.
  15. Not really. I've plenty of criticisms of Corbyn. His successful election campaign and great manifesto isn't one of them.
  16. I didn't say it was anything external that was pulling them into the debate. It's a fundamental flaw within the party that has to change if they want to survive.
  17. The wheelbarrow he's put it all in will let him get an x-ray though.
  18. Damian Green claimed today that it will be "different" from what's been said before. Maybe she's going to announce an invasion of Normandy? This is likely what's going to happen hence why Boris has pre-empted her speech and doubled down on a gung-ho baws oot Brexit.
  19. Cabinet's in civil war all over the news ATM. Home Sec accusing Boris on Andrew Marr of "back seat driving" the Brexit negotiations. Perfect chance for Labour to go right for the jugular so expect some centrist no mark to pen a scathing critique of Corbyn in the Spectator sometime next week.
