  1. Everyone I know, including myself, who turned away from the SNP to Labour did so because of the SNP's rubbish campaign and because of the boy Corbz. Nothing was said about the referendum. I can believe Tory voters *may* have bought into that but likely up north the EU and other factors played a part. I would honestly be amazed if even a nominal amount of the Labour vote switchers were swayed by Dugdale's avowed opposition to another referendum. She's prevented more switching IMO. I only decided on the day to go Labour and I had to get confirmation from my Labour candidate that he would put Corbyn's manifesto promises ahead of this boring indyref focus.
  2. Naw. TCK. I don't even disagree with the point he made but if he's gonnae invent mates then make it a bit less contrived.
  3. If you're gonna invent fictional yes supporting mates probs best to have them speaking in something that isn't unionist buzzwords.
  4. A mate of mine got somedy's season ticket for a Sunday game last year because the guy who owns it refuses to watch the Rangers on the Sabbath.
  5. So what should a woman who is raped, becomes pregnant and can't get an abortion do?
  6. Quite an elongated way to call him gay.
  7. It was a request. If I wanted to read the thoughts of whichever Tory you've stolen your baseless assertions off of I would go and Google them.
  8. It is of course a wider societal good to prosecute women who legally have an abortion on the mainland.
  9. I, and most of my mates, belong to the third group. I'll still vote for an independent Scotland regardless of whether Corbyn ends up PM.
  10. What's the position in sharia law on drinking from puddles?
  11. Quite. My problem with the "lol sky fairy" nonsense is it's incredibly easy to take a somewhat rational approach to religion when you live in a country where you're never going to be persecuted either violently or otherwise for your beliefs.
  12. Of course there's a debate to be had. But the atheist movement has to address the rampant sexism and islamaphobia present in its movement.
  13. That's why I qualified it with "atheism that goes beyond saying "I don't believe in a god". People that commit to their atheism along the lines of Ricky Gervais are minters with shit banter.
  14. Atheism that goes beyond just saying "I don't believe in a God" always has the thinking and banter of a ten year old. What's to be expected when your replacement for Jesus Christ is Richard Dawkins.
  15. These weirdos who hold freedom of speech and the right of religious zealots to discriminate against minority groups to be the most important values in society are killing my vibe man.
  16. The radical edge of the movement needs to be rediscovered and FFS can we do it without Tommy Sheridan and the snakes in RISE?
  17. If the SNP rediscover their radical edge I and many others that voted for Corbyn, not for Scottish Labour, will be back.
  18. Stewart Lee's comedy bigot routine from 2005 wants its views back.
  19. Drinking out of puddles gives you the gift of looking into the future.
  20. They've nae hassle with their current leader deporting record numbers of LGBT people to their deaths around the world so I doubt this'll bother them too much.
  21. Theresa May's going to announce the aiming of Trident missiles at the Holy See any minute now.
