    If De Vita does find himself at Falkirk then he could up against Ryan Stevenson who has signed for Stranraer. I don't think I can remember a Thistle signing with such high expectation and so disappointing a return as Stevenson.

    I can't agree with that at all. I thought he was pretty solid defensively the whole game.

    I wonder if Slater will move on in January. He's clearly unfancied by McCall but perhaps still has enough of a reputation in the game to get a decent move.

    I'll be more than happy if that's true. If he's contracted to Livvy for next season then it would make sense for them to move him somewhere he'll get game time. If not, it makes sense for De Vita to move on and get himself in the shop window.

    He was just pointing out that descriptions of the guy's historic relationship with the club have been somewhat exaggerated. I don't think he's said anything particularly distasteful.

    I thought the booking was a bit harsh at the time and the highlights seem to confirm it. Saunders appears to lean into him causing him to go down. Certainly not a penalty. Perhaps his vociferous appeals just pissed- off the ref.

    It's been a long time since I enjoyed a game as much as I did this afternoon. We now seem to be a real attacking proposition under McCall and could have scored more. Credit to the defence also who were made to work very hard by ICT and a wee special mention for the much maligned Ryan Williamson who had an excellent game. Get Cole signed signed up till the end of the season pronto Ian.!

    I can't believe there are those casting doubt upon the honesty of Joe Cardle. Would a man so devout as to bless himself not once, not twice but three times after scoring before pointing heavenwards in tribute to the Lord be capable of such underhand behaviour? I think not as I can't imagine anyone being such a steaming hypocrite.

    I can't imagine why you'd want to do that. Like him or not he's our best striker by a mile. I agree wholeheartedly regarding the Palmerston pies though. Absolutely top grub.
