Who would you have alongside/off Obika? If we're dropping Erwin and one of Cammy/Ethan, we're not left with a lot of choice. Probably a bit much to expect Kyle to play again after 90 mins in midweek. It's a shame he must be basically retired and certainly well short of match fitness, but I'd maybe have been sounding out Ross Wallace for another wee stint as back up in the middle. His assist vs Hearts will live long in the memory...

Shhhhhhhh! But yeah. Ross has achieved marginally more, but that's mainly by dint of having been in the game a couple years longer. I reckon in five years' time Goodwin will be widely accepted to be the better manager. The fact we keep getting beaten by Hibs isn't helping his case right now, mind.

Impossible to call this. You couldn't slide a fag paper between the sides this season - our victories were narrow, likewise the cup game - and obviously it's been Livi's form vs the rest of the league that has them above us. I still think 0-0, but possibly a 1-0 either way. Definitely low-scoring, quite possibly low-tempo, too. We're obviously well short down the middle and don't have many options still: I'd go 4-2-3-1 and push Flynn up into the number 10 role. Durmus (our most in-form player) and Connolly wide. Erwin on the bench. Edit: what happened to Mason, btw? Is he injured? I was thinking this might be a game that he'd feature in as Jim likes to mix things up.

I doubt Goodwin will come through many more challenging seasons than this as a manager; I'm sure he'll emerge all the better for it, too. That we're even in the half-decent shape we're in is basically incredible. We definitely need some serious luck on the injury front if we're making the top six - by which point, if it happens, we're going to be totally knackered and will get pumped all over the place.
