    Just pay them off now Useless fuckers have done NOTHING in a St Mirren shirt. I'm gonna buy a half-season ticket so I can throw it at Gordon Scott. Edit: on a serious note, I've asked a guy whose opinion I really respect what he made of Duckens at Coventry. Will update when I hear back. Edit: he says he 'did the business' and was a great character too. Looking forward to seeing him, tbh.

    Yep: striker, winger, left back were the absolute essentials. I'm far from relaxed - this is St Mirren - but it's looking healthier.

    Tansey and McGinn as the midfield platform, Dreyer, Lyons and McAllister in front with licence to push forward, and Jackson or new striker (or Cooke, I guess) up top. Real shame the Marec didn't pan out, I really liked the idea of a mobile beanpole up front.

    It was me - I just put the same post simultaneously. No idea if it was true or not but my mate has zero interest in our transfer dealings, and he did tell me the day we ordered the letters for Lyons' shirt. If the next player we sign is given the number 10 I'm claiming partial credit for the rumour
