Yeah, think you're right. There's no way we're progressing from where we are, to where we need to be, in the next week or so. Even if we bring in the 'bare minimum'/essential players as I've outlined above, that's still just an acceptable starting XI. Squad would still be very thin on quality. Bit galling if McIntyre finishes above us, mind, proving that he'd have been the safer bet in the summer.

Thought it was a second yellow? It was a dive. Threw himself towards the player Or: the defender watches his run and deliberately checks him. If Lyons pre-empted that, then it was an attempt to not get bodied. Honestly, watch the defender step-by-step. He stops moving backwards, checks his movement and moves across into Lyons after the ball has gone.

Seems to be the case. Unfortunate timing. Then again, he'll be streets ahead in League One, so might get a decent move in the summer.
