  1. He did: this is a totally different player. If you look carefully, this is a white guy.
  2. You're right: everyone who wars glasses does look the same. (But seriously, he looks like Harry Potter being played by Matt Damon.)
  3. We'll see. From the outside looking in, I think you're doing by far the best business. Obviously I've not seen many of your games.
  4. Managed to get a tenner on you guys @ 6/1 for the title before Saturday's win. Seemed like a good price; it's shortened to 9/2 now, but I think you'll skoosh it from here.
  5. Ha, yeah. Just can't imagine the Morgan thing happening. But it's not stopping me imagining it
  6. Based on the rumours, and assuming we don't get gazumped, we should hopefully be adding at least an attacking midfielder, a striker and a winger to the fold this week. The striker and the midfielder have been identified - not sure who the winger is yet, but based on what Div said on Twitter, he showed up well in the bounce game last week and we are supposedly looking to sign him. The icing on the cake at this stage would be Ferdinand staying to the end of the season, the the cherry on the icing on the cake would be Morgan coming back on loan. I'd rate the chances of those at 50% and 10% respectively. If Morgan doesn't come in, we could probably continue with the midfielders/forwards as they are. If Ferdinand doesn't stay, we'll almost certainly need another centre-half. We also still need a left full back but I feel that is marginally less urgent, at least this week. Based on who we're bringing in, I think we're going to be playing a 4-5-1/4-2-3-1/4-3-3 (ie all basically the same thing): ------------------ S. McGinn - Tansey ------- P. McGinn - Brad Lyons - Mystery Winger ---------------------Marec-------------------- Or maybe a diamond with either McGinn or Tansey at the foot, but I'd worry about this being a bit flimsy at some of the grounds we've got to visit in the next six league games. ------------------McGinn------------- Mystery------------------------Tansey --------------------Lyons--------------- ---Jackson--------------Marec----------
  7. Aw, f**k. I still just can't see it happening... But it makes more sense than Celtic loaning him to any club that's a direct (top four/six) rival. But doesn't make as much sense as him being loaned to, say, the English Championship. I still think he'll go south.
  8. Beating a Celtic side 4-0 on a day we try to get a player on loan from Tony Mowbray. Poetic.
  9. I've screenshotted them in case he wakes up and has a rethink It's not that bad really. Probably still raging over the Jim Goodwin video evidence hypocrisy https://twitter.com/StewartGilmour1/with_replies
  10. Someone worked out there's only six first-team players left Fake edit: it's four now Smith and Eckersley have gone today. McGinn, Magennis, Baird. McKenzie. Ripped apart.
  11. Yeah, that had occurred to me. It was the one positive of us maybe just loaning him out Stubbs made him post it to Lewis Morgan.
  12. Great signing for a team in your position. I hope you manage to get more out of him than you did last time.
  13. a player can sign for and be employed by as many clubs as they want in a season but only 2 clubs can register them in a season to play. EU cant do anything about that Ah, ok. I hope there's no limit to how many shite players a club can release in a single transfer window I'd be staggered if Scottish football has ever seen a club do what we're doing in a January window.
  14. Thanks for the response anyway; appreciated. I'm sensing we'll be ok with Lyons, but Kellerman might be stuck unless, as you say, there's a work-around. I'm actually surprised the EU hasn't got more to say on this: you'd think a person would be able to change jobs/employers as much as they wish.
  15. Cheers. Looks like Kellerman is fucked, though, and will be with us until the end of the season.
  16. @Skyline Drifter - cheeky request - wondering if you can shed any light on this for us? Brad Lyons has played for Coleraine in the NI league, and Blackburn U-23s. Looks like we're trying to sign him. Can we? Plus, Jim Kellerman has played for us this season, went on loan to non-league Fylde, and is now rumoured to be going back to Aldershot. Can we get rid of him or is he stuck with us (and vice versa) till the end of the season?
