    In the VAR age, it can't be a bad thing to have a guy who is as close to being a cast iron certainty to score from the spot as I have ever seen. Whether he's actually on the park to take them, though, is a different matter.

    The real thing to focus on is that this was potentially a very unsettling issue, the likes of which could easily cause problems in a squad like ours. But it's been handled brilliantly by the club and our management. Carson is out the door, we got money for him, and we've started the season well. Robinson really is doing a tremendous job.

    The most ridiculous thing is that anyone, anywhere, is writing an article about league positions after two games. We've all had our fun with being top on Saturday night etc, but what sort of desperate twat actually thinks there's anything there worth analysis? Absolutely nuts.

    While I get your point, it IS important, because these decisions have got to stop being called incorrectly with the technology that is readily available in 2023. Because next time it might be a goal that does matter. For us, for someone else... We're being told to embrace this technology that I broadly still think is fucking awful, but then we find it's still deeply flawed. It's a shitshow, and it's worth debating.

    Wasn't there chat that we get more money for Carson if they stay up, or have I dreamt that? I know the Gallagher fee goes up if United get promoted so I might be confusing it with that. Either way, I'm quote happy for Dundee to stay up, especially if it's at the expense of St Johnstone who are basically the new Accies at this stage.
