  1. I was whooshed by your reference..... but I think you need to read my username again [emoji12]
  2. Anyone know why McKay wasn’t even on the bench? No mention of him being injured in the pre-match interview yet he wasn’t in the squad and we didn’t even fill the bench.
  3. Not a full bench but McKay not listed. What’s going on there?
  4. Don’t think I’ve even ever set foot in the place. What’s the tiny one in the corner of the main stand? The one that’s about the size of someone’s living room with a wee bottle bar. I’ve been in that one a few times but never in the 200 club. I guess you can be a bellend without being in the 200 club (or Fife’s finest).
  5. There’s no way that someone responsible for the incoherent nonsense posted under either of those usernames could also be tech-savvy enough to register two accounts on the same forum.
  6. For Raith, the big ginger centre half (?) Mark Humphries in the late 90s has to be a stand out as one of the worst players relative to the league he was in.
  7. Just when Frank has calmed down a bit good old Steakngravy steps up to take over the mantle of biggest walloper in the Rovers support. [emoji1360]
  8. Been playing the Rovers Lotto every week by direct debit since 2005 with the same numbers. Never won a bean. Keeping my powder dry for a £25k jackpot win.
  9. It is a bit cringy but you’re right, it does seem like we are starting to build a team over the past few weeks, rather than the collection of decent players we had last season (and Falkirk have this season).
  10. Not impossible- that’s what happened during his season with us, we were bang average until the January window and he recruited really well/ was very lucky with who he managed to bring in (*delete as appropriate).
  11. You’ve got to imagine that’s a reaction to Vaughan being out for the rest of the season. Although not the same type of player that’s a stonking replacement to be able to bring in.
  12. And if former players were eligible then surely a former Manchester United and Northern Ireland midfielder named James Nicholl would be the first choice?
  13. Agree with that. Used to fucking love going to Brockville even though it was an absolute shit hole. Standing up against the fence with Falkirk fans on the other side was great banter and the games always seemed to be blood and snotters. Who was it that got sent off for handling the ball on the line to prevent a goal in the late 90s/ early 00s? Was it Sinky? Did I make that up?
  14. So realistically he’ll be back for the start of pre-season next year. The right thing to do now is to win this fucking league so he can unfurl the championship flag on his first game back.
  15. Aye you’re probably right, this thread has just gone down a bit of a tedious tangent. Can we talk about football instead of whether East Fife are a pub team or if buying a ticket from a pod makes it all ticket or not? Cheers.
  16. I must admit I’m a little disappointed at how tedious a large percentage of the Falkirk posters are. For some reason I expected them to be sound c***s. Oh well.
  17. Also you’d imagine Kelty will be picking up at least part of his wages. Not having to pay the full wages of your 5yh choice centre-back is always a bonus.
  18. And yet you’re not romping away with the league after the first quarter..... Falkirk appear to be only marginally less rancid-kipper-like than the majority of the teams in this league, and that is not how most of their fans thought it would be before the season started.
  19. Also, reports suggest the knee injured today is not the one which has just healed so you wouldn’t imagine it’s anything to do with coming back too soon.
  20. Very much this. The league isn’t high on quality but most teams are very hard to beat- Falkirk are finding out now what we found out a couple of years back.
  21. The only positive is that McGlynns interview would have been filmed less than an hour after the injury. The reports we’re getting of dislocated knee-caps are maybe a more up-to-date report. We can only hope.
  22. Guy who's done two ACLs in two years goes off with a knee injury. You're right, it may be not as bad as feared but I don't think it's a stretch to be assuming it's another ACL injury.
