  1. I’m pretty much a part timer now due to circumstances but I did have a ticket for tonight. Only a token gesture really that will have minimal effect but I’ve ‘returned’ it to the club with an explanation that I’ve withdrawn my support. Heartbreaking.
  2. I imagine it will be a set rate based on what division you are. Certainly the hospitality industry got a set rate based on rateable value, they didn’t apply for £x on the basis that they lost y covers at £z per head.
  3. Can go out on pens here and still keep the unbeaten run intact!
  4. How did they cope with the large travelling support in the previous rou….
  5. I know what you mean here and in the whole I would say I am similar but there was something different about that particular cup final. It had a real feel of us representing the whole of the lower leagues with pretty much everybody wanting us to stick it to them and obviously cup final or not, popping in a winner with 5 mins to go against one of the old form is always something that is going to last long in the memory. There was a feeling of inevitability that they were going to do us and so to keep their name off that trophy was joyous.
  6. as bad as Falkirk are, I’d back McGlynn to get a tune out of any of them
  7. Thought Dick did ok (goal aside, which looked a nice move btw) given that the number 2 was doubling up on him, overlapping the peroxide show pony well. Tough playing 70 minutes with 10 men to properly show how good we can be but that said it was pretty clear we are a millions miles ahead of Falkirk. Tumilty can have no complaints, totally stupid first yellow, then fannying about just before the second yellow. Guys around me said he needs to watch himself just before second yellow. I’m normally a nervous pessimist at the football but I honestly never felt worried watching them aimlessly pass the ball around outside our box before someone would slap a 30 yarder high into the seats behind the goal. In all honesty, I think that win was more satisfying than dummying them 5-0, just for the thought that even one Falkirk fan actually had hope in the second half just before Ethan Ross danced through and slotted the winner in. Will be opening up a can of Falkirk Tears tonight, Matthews style, to celebrate!
  8. This post by @Mon Dieu from a few pages back welcomes the chase I imagine.
  9. Some table, top 5 all between 27 and 29, bottom 5 between 12 and 13!
  10. It is possible to simultaneously not be actually offended by a song and still think it is poor taste and should be consigned to the bin
  11. Looks like a pen to me, classic hockey hip-check. It was so far away from the ball that the ref maybe never saw it! Some quality boos at the third goal too there.
  12. What exactly happened, was it going in anyway or was it a bit of a howler? Was tough to tell from the other end!
  13. As routine a win as you could hope to see against as mediocre a side as you could hope to come up against. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the away end but the sex offender pish needs punted ASAP. Saw some stewards wading in so thought they might have put them on notice but seems not.
  14. BBC headline saying 2 and half year contract. Although it also says in the article he has signed until twenty twentyshree so that would seem to agree with the 18 month chat
  15. Would you not be better wearing one pair and taking the other pair with you to change in to? Surely the pish will soak through the first pair and in to the second pair, although I suppose the pish stain on your breeks might be a bit smaller, which would give this approach some merit. Even @shull takes a spare pair rather than wearing 2 pairs at once
  16. This approach worked well for Rangers fans with their original club
  17. The plight of Dunfermline can firmly be filed under S for See, Things you love to
  18. The board won’t be able to read the Grant Must Go bedsheets due them flapping in the Arbroath wind
