  1. Since the restart, except at Cowdenbeath, we've struggled to score and given away soft and softer goals. It's got to change, let it start today. I hope the manager has learned his strongest team and will play them up to and throughout the play offs, availabilty permitting. I think our recent lack of cohesion has been a result of multiple changes for each game.
  2. I'm not sure that EPL clubs would accept them, a choice of expanding to 22 teams or dumping a couple of extra teams into the championship to accommodate the ugly sisters. Neither sounds attractive, and what would happen further down the pyramid, two extra teams into the National league? Can't see the OF accepting entry lower down EFL either, too expensive and hard work to get back to the top table. Even if they did get accepted by EPL, there would be no automatic entry to Europe either, initially I suspect that both would struggle in EPL and face relegation battles. SPFL would probably lose quite a bit of tv income but as the OF allocate most of it to themselves there may not be a great difference to Premiership teams. On the plus side if they went to the EPL, SPFL could charge a departure fee, say 10% of their EPL distributions for 10 years to make up for loss of revenue caused by the departure. SPFL would also have the opportunity to complete a sensible reconstruction without the OF millstone and the current voting system to block change. Bring in 8 clubs and form 3 leagues of 16. No colts teams allowed, EPL do have a flourishing premier reserve league.
  3. Are Brora to recive a championship flag for their nomination as HL champions for 2020/21, or is the play-off placement the only recognition to be granted?
  4. How often can you recall the record getting the story right, you're taking a lot on trust if you're quoting it.
  5. Doesn't bode well for four more games against them, will we hang on to fourth place?
  6. One goalkeeping howler, not a lot of football, City's defence comfortable our forwards punchless.
  7. Aye, but not many princes have put in an appearance.
  8. Absolutely, I'm sure their two applications to the West of Scotland tier 7 conferences would be favourably looked upon.
  9. So would I, even though you're the only team in the top half we've beaten this season, the other games drawn 3 lost 3. I prefer the record you're quoting to mine.
  10. We've kissed a lot of frogs since Alan Moore left.
  11. Don't look for excitement on Tuesday, in 8 home games this season we've only scored 6 with 4 against. Could it be the day for a blood and thunder, or even a thud and blunder 4-4 draw?
  12. Delighted to be wrong, and for the first time since the restart were putting away chances. It'll be a harder challenge on Tuesday even though Edinburgh are the only team in the top 5 we've beaten this season.
  13. The difficulty is when you look at the alternative leaders from opposition parties, they offer an even worse option, and that's without adding the SNP leadership in Scotland into the mix. Just be glad we don't have any of them.
  14. Alternatively, that she doesn't have a scooby, in matters concerning the current or potential future governance of Scotland.
  15. With the trouble we're having getting goals, that'll have to be 1-0 then.
  16. Any win will do me, for all the opportunities we're creating the lack of goals particularly at Forthbank is a bit of a concern. One of these days we're going to start converting more of the chances made. Hope it's tomorrow.
  17. SPFL have said Saturday's games to kick off at 12.00 noon. SFA are in dialogue before deciding, perhaps desperately trying to get the funeral changed to accommodate Rangers-Celtic cup tie.
  18. Play offs are not a lottery they are a test of ability and nerve. Tossing a coin, cutting cards would be a lottery.
  19. More likely to trip over your goalkeeper's leg for a penalty
  20. Cove was and QP is a well funded team in a part-time league, Cove could turn over teams QP seem to be doing just enough to win matches. Cove had a good team with 2/3 stand out players QP have a good team without a stand out. In a best of 5 tournament I would take last year's Cove to beat this year's QP 3-1 with 1 draw.
  21. Irrespective of the quality of the picture, the commentary or even the football on show it is a piss poor alternative to going to the ground to watch a game. The quicker government stops hiding behind a wall of fear and opens up communities the better.
  22. The rest of Scottish football has been saying that for quite some time, instead of your club trying to shoe-horn a B/Colts team halfway up the pyramid.
  23. Well a better second half, and we might have won that but for their goalkeeper who had four excellent saves. Although if Blair Curtie hadn't saved the penalty at 1-0 there didn't look a way back for us. It took that save to wake us up.
  24. I was there on time, the team haven't turned up yet. We're second to almost every ball and Rovers are well worth their goal.
  25. QP worth their win today, we competed but offered almost nothing in attack, I felt sorry for Sean Heavey and Dylan Mackin, they had no service but put in a fair shift running after lost causes and hopeful long balls. Soft goal to lose by, the defence seemed to get in each others way 5 of them in the 6 yard box against 2 attackers. Second half the defence laid on a couple of gilt edged chances which QP couldn't take.
