I would never nor did I say he wasn’t good enough for Clyde, I actually never mentioned him at all, I talked about the ex Clyde players on show last night. I have no memory of him ever playing for us, however I’m getting old now and aging even more rapidly watching the farce that is a football club at the moment. So forgive me.

I agree those you mention of the current players are garbage but of the Darvel three only Kirkpatrick was decent. Apart from hiding in the playoff final at Hampden of course. ferguson never recovered to decent level after injury, was really poor laterally actually. Of course they will now be on double what we can pay anyway.

Just listened to the audio from our Dinosaur manager. Did I hear correctly? "best we could have hoped for was a 0-0 given the conditions? Thats bordering sacking offence on its own, is he saying he was playing for a point? oh what a surprise! Honestly he is the most negative manager ever Certainly not since our last negative manager, what was his name again? Oh aye Jim Effing Duffy!

I honestly don’t know where we go from here. I get folk saying board should go, I know they have arsed it but it’s impractical as there are no one to replace them unfortunately. I actually think they would go if it was possible. The Duffy appointment is a disaster as we predicted. A fecken dinosaur! Absolutely zero leadership on the park and from manager. Grant, Parry and McLean are as experienced as you could get, yet they are spineless. Total let down and wage thief’s them and the rest of them! Depressing stuff

Not being disrespectful to Peterhead, far from it, they have had our number for years, but how can’t we score against them, like us teams have found that easy this season. Even if we lost 2-1 or 3-2 we have to be looking at scoring. We are now in our deserved and expected position in the league. Duffy has done nothing to improve Lennon’s debacle absolutely nothing Please just wrap it Jim.

Hopefully at least one is a proper midfielder, in fact a right b*****d would be nice. We are far too nice. A version of a young Marvin Wilson would be ideal.

Hard to argue with that but to happen it needs to be now, before Saturday or there is no point. Personally I don’t think the club have it in them to even try sadly.

Yesterday looked like the end of days.. those players in a Clyde shirt and the Manager just look like they have down tools and accepted it’s over. I know all supporters say these things when they are watching their side sliding towards relegation.. However, Parry for example is just so slow now it’s embarrassing, but worse thing is; it doesn’t even look like it bothers him one bit! Peter Grant is also finished and slower than anything I’ve seen in years. If the ball isn’t thrown directly in direction of his napper just forget it. Falkirk players showed him up big time yesterday. Much as I could rip into 99% of the players what’s the point, other than making me feel better for the rant! I just get so annoyed at certain individuals. Surely these two players for example don’t need Clyde wages to survive, professional pride should just make them just chuck it. Same could be said about Duffy. Even if he ever had it in the first place. I’ve supported this club for nearly 60 years and I seen good sides, decent sides, poor sides and abysmal sides, however as some have said and I agree this feels different as we can see no way out of this situation without a drastic change in circumstances. Problem being the club seem to have very little wherewithal to facilitate any positive change. Sad and sorry days

As I alluded earlier I say to Duffy, thanks Jim but you are not staying on next season. Stay on till then if you want or walk, please yourself!

Season is done; time to prepare for next season. Have to start looking for new manager now, whether we get him in now or in May makes no odds. Tell Duffy he will not be here after this season. Don’t bother signing anyone else, just keep the pennies we have and even get pre contracts looked at (if we had new manager lined up obviously). Next week is going to be an absolute shit show, 100 % credit for any brave soul that makes that journey.

Bet Duffy is forced to play Hynes in midfield now.. typical one step forward 2 back.

Which is the whole point of everyone in Lower League being 100% against it. But, hay what do we know, we don’t support proper teams do we!

Trust me it won’t matter what way you decide to play either way we will contrive to gift you a couple of goals.

I like Cudihay but at L1 level he is limited in midfield, coupled with his fitness issues. However as a full back in L1 he is very good. That’s the difference, again only my opinion, also as I said if we manage to get a decent midfield player.

Full backs have been killing all season as predicted. (Not just this season actually). There must be something better out there, better still get a decent midfield player and get Cudihay back to RB where he is more effective in my opinion.

Just managed to summon the courage to watch the highlights from that horror show on Saturday. I thought the first goal was bad enough when witnessed it live, but when you watch it again it’s criminal. From Thicot giving the ball away initially (set theme for entire game) Scullion sleeping when short corner taken, Thicot losing his man, Roberts then not picked the resultant runner then all moaning at each other, shocking. Even second goal, obviously there is the Thicot factor but Allan again gives ball away cheaply by not holding it up. Even the penalty kick itself Parry’s attempt getting down was pathetically slow (not blaming really but his movement now is just non existent). This squad has so many issues it’s a complete rip up and start again job..awful and avoidable situation so embarrassing.

The fact he gives the impression and always has done that he doesn’t really give a toss about the job would indicate that his cardiac issue won’t be affected by managing a football team!

Thicot’s performance today was as bad as I’ve ever seen from a Clyde Centre Half and that’s saying something , embarrassing. His decision to give away the penalty is af baffling as I have witnessed anywhere in football! Duffy not top of my list as any Manager but he must be bewildered how he can change this? How Lennon thought for a second that Thicot and at least 9 of those players would survive in this league is beyond me… bordering on a crime committed against the Club. Complete shambles going back 3 years.. unbelievable

It’s an interesting debate regarding McDonald, I know a lot of the support like him, personally I don’t see too much in him at all. Yes he tries hard as you’d expect, looks like he has ability, but he offers absolutely no presence whatsoever up front. I don’t think any defender in L1 would worry about lining up against him at all. Basically that’s my point, he is not a L1 striker, sorry to say. So if anyone would have him, I’d 100% move him on.
