  1. Too late, but could be huge in the fight for being one of the best 3rd placed teams
  2. There's been a lot wrong with the performance, but the main thing has been the pace. We're far too slow all over the pitch
  3. Soft penalty but another defensive mistake. This is as poor as I've seen this Scotland team
  4. Defensive errors are the bane of this team. It happens far too often
  5. Saw him play for Cumbernauld Colts a couple times last season. Didn't particularly stand out, but that means nothing bad as well as nothing spectacular
  6. Good plan to try and entice some locals in. Would be nice to see them pick up a fanbase
  7. 18,555 didn't look like an unreasonable number from where I was sitting, it was definitely busy. I'm now wondering if they'll try and keep that sort of attendance going forward and where they'll play the Euro qualifiers. Wee Erin's goal was genuinely one of the best I've ever seen live.
  8. Looking forward to this tonight. Will be surprised if they hit 10,000 but I'm hoping for a big crowd
  9. Russell was unstoppable last night. Hot to be in with a shout of starting against Cyprus
  10. Was in the area a couple of weeks ago and did a tour of Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. Really good, informative tour. Interesting place as they're the only distillery in Scotland who do 100% of their production on site. The tour is great value as well. A dram at the end and a glass and miniature to take home. Tried the miniature last night, a sample of their 10 year old. Bit smokier than my usual taste, but quite enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend the tour if you're in the vicinity.
  11. Second week in a row that Roldan has scored an absolute belter for Seattle. Sounders are looking pretty good so far this season minus the drubbing at LAFC. Enjoying the season to this point, seen some decent football.
  12. Rotten game, could still be playing now and no one would have scored. Hibs looked like they wanted it more, and were clinical in the shoot out. Hope anyone that watched it didn't get put off women's football, as it really wasn't a good advert for the game at all. About the only positive was getting handed two comp tickets on the way in
  13. Mariners back to the Mariners we all know and love being swept at home by the Astros. Onto the next
  14. Renfrew 3-1 Aberdeen, SWFL Division One Cup semi-final this afternoon. Two 35 yard free kicks undid Aberdeen in what was a cracking cup tie
  15. Ridiculous start from the Mariners for what was heralded as a rebuilding year. Long may it continue (until the inevitable annual slump come late July)
  16. The Benburb pitch has at least two huge patches as well which given its age doesn't suggest it's a particularly good surface.
  17. Hibs 0-1 Glasgow City last night. Very competitive game won from a set piece. Good night's entertainment in front of a decent crowd. Nice to see these games getting moved to Friday nights for TV, makes it feel like a bigger deal than a later kick off on a Sunday.
  18. Hibs v Glasgow City moved to Friday 29th Mach at 7.45 for live broadcast on BBC Alba.
  19. Largs Thistle 3-3 Pollok in the West Region Premiership. Cracking entertainment
  20. My wife's American. She calls her purse a wallet. They're a strange breed
  21. Renton Craigandro 0-12 Bishopton. SWFL Division Two West/Central The newly formed Renton team's first home match and I would gate to see what a good team would have done to them. It'll be a tough learning curve for them if they even last the season, quite a few of their players looked to have totally given up in the second half.
