Was in the area a couple of weeks ago and did a tour of Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. Really good, informative tour. Interesting place as they're the only distillery in Scotland who do 100% of their production on site. The tour is great value as well. A dram at the end and a glass and miniature to take home. Tried the miniature last night, a sample of their 10 year old. Bit smokier than my usual taste, but quite enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend the tour if you're in the vicinity.

Hibs 0-1 Glasgow City last night. Very competitive game won from a set piece. Good night's entertainment in front of a decent crowd. Nice to see these games getting moved to Friday nights for TV, makes it feel like a bigger deal than a later kick off on a Sunday.

It'll be a tough learning curve for them if they even last the season, quite a few of their players looked to have totally given up in the second half.

Irvine Meadow 1-0 Cumnock Entertaining game settled by a very soft penalty. Game was riddled with mistakes but never short of entertaining throughout. Meadow just about shaded it for me and the result was about right.

Rangers are still at Benburb's ground, New Tinto Park, but until it's brought up to SWPL1 standards it will count as their alternate ground, as these only have to meet SWPL2 conditions. They can do this for four games, and they say the ground will be ready after that. I think all they'll need to do is cover 200 seats. Apologies, I couldn't get this section to quote in the app. Does this mean that Rangers/Benburb are finally covering the seats at New Tinto? That will be a fantastic addition to that ground
