Wee bit from Miller on the Record transfer blog...I’m speaking to a lot of people to get some advice on it (Livingston); is it possible for a start, is there going to be too much hard work involved? Knowing how I am that I’m obsessed with playing or coaching or managing. It might be tough to combine (the two roles). Everyone else thinks it’s either one or the other, but playing has to be a big part of it because you’re a long time retired. Doesnt sound like a guy who’s convinced a move into management is the best step for him just now.

Yep agree with everyone, he does sound like the perfect fit, suppose it all depends if he’s applied for the job. Certainly more interesting than the usual managers being swapped around.

Tbf 3 or 4 times our budget this season is still below Dundee Utd, Ross County, Partick Thistle, and on par with the likes of Falkirk, Dunfermline. We will still have the lowest budget in the top flight and be mid table in the championship.
