I’d imagine Dykes will be announced at some point tonight too but later on.

New signing to be announced tonight, not Dykes.

It’s a done deal, was down at the stadium getting tickets for Hearts and Dykes appeared, local press and photographer down too. Good signing.

I like the signing of Dykes if it goes through, he was always an awkward player for us to defend against, isn’t going to score many goals but I’d guess he’ll play the Lee Miller role but with a bit more mobility. If we have managed to get him it’s a bit of a coup for us, I believe the two Edinburgh clubs, Aberdeen and Motherwell have all been looking at him too, but I’d guess we would be a lot more appealing in terms of minutes on the pitch.

Really leaves us short in the forward area again, even with Miller and Raffa back I still feel we’d be one light. The club must have someone lined up to come in letting Hamilton go, the question is who ? I’ve not heard any rumours so there is nothing in this at all other than they could be realistic targets... Craig Wighton on loan from Hearts, Oli Shaw from Hibs if they look to bring in someome else, another loan from Cardiff, then the rumours about the lad Henderson that went around a few weeks ago, Kris Boyd ? Any other names anyone wants to throw in ?

Alright guys. You'll be wanting to know a bit about big Henk...he’s only played 1 minute of first team football for us, came on against Celtic to see the game out, other than that he’s played all his football for us in the reserves. I’ve seen a few reserve games, it’s a very poor standard we are playing against but he’s a big lad, confident on the ball and gives very little away at that level which is what I’d expect and as has been mentioned he’s a good looking b*****d. Hope he does you a turn, good luck for the rest of the season.

No idea, he’s played 1 minute of first team football when he came on at the end of the Celtic game. I’ve seen him a few times for the reserves and he’s been solid, comfortable on the ball and is a big lad but it’s an extremely poor level so difficult to judge. Hopefully does you a turn and shows he has potential to come back to us and break into the first team.

Works hard, will do a shift and can play in numerous positions, he won’t get you many goals but he’s a good player to play off if that’s what you’re looking for. I actually thought he had some of his best games for us playing centre back which is what I mean by numerous positions, striker, centre back and played as a right back in one game too. I was always worried he was going to get sent off, really clumsy player and looks like he doesn’t know what he’s doing...as I say though, will give everything, a championship player.

f**k sake, hopefully they are just folk out for the day and not actual Livi fans, I don’t think they would be as I’ve never heard anything like that in 20 years of following the club. Good on you for pulling them up, don’t need those sort of people within our support.

It wouldnt be great but it would get the job done. Yes we are in a great position, and I’m not saying we should rest on our laurels but teams will have started to work us out and be prepared for how we will approach games so as much as I think we can still push on and do well it also wouldn’t surprise me if we struggled a little more in the second half of the league campaign. That wont dampen my spirits at the end of the season though, if we stay up regardless of our form it’s an amazing achievement for a team that’s about a mid table championship side in terms of budget.

Agree with all of the above, our fans are clueless at times, have been for a while and a great point that’s been made already is that our early season form has blinkered some people, it’s a cliche but we are a victim of our own success in a way. Another 10 points and we will guarantee survival that’s if we haven’t done already which should be seen as a sensational achievement.

Think we are being a bit harsh on Wylde, he’s probably never played the position we’ve asked him to play today before. He’s played very little football for Plymouth too, he was off the pace today and struggled but I feel we are judging him very early in his Livi career. On the game I don’t think we done an awful lot wrong, competed well enough and on another day a draw and a replay would’ve been the result. We just lacked that wee bit composure when we got into good positions, and the one bit of real quality in the game has decided the outcome. Lets move on to an equally difficult looking trip to Perth to take on a good St Johnstone team and hope we can get a result to kick start the second half of the league campaign.

If we manage to ride out the rest of the transfer window without losing anyone this will have been an outstanding January for the club. Added a bit of experience and quality with Erskine and Wylde to the ranks, De Vita and Miller hopefully back from injury and Hardie returning. Think there is room for one more signing aswell.

Hardie was also in attendance in his Livi tracksuit...... Don’t think he was, think that was a wind up.

Always liked Erskine, think he’ll be a good addition to the squad, likely play as a 10 in our system I think. Also hearing the lad Henderson is a possible signing but will be loaned back to Edinburgh City for the rest of the season.

Hardie to Dundee could be a real possibility btw... Been thinking, Rangers will want Kamara now rather than the summer, in order to get him without paying a fee they may offer them Hardie on loan for the rest of the season to get the deal done. Hope it’s shite though but can’t help but worry.

There is no chance Byrne will go to Dundee, I’m very confident of that, bookmark if you want and if he does I’ll hold my hands up but I’m extremely confident he won’t be going to Dundee. I would expect the club to be holding out for atleast 150k Hardie back at rangers is a little more concerning but my hope is that Gerrard just wants to see him over in Tenerife so he can decide if he’s worth offering a new deal to or not.

This couldn’t be further from the truth, yes they are avid Rangers fans but having spoken to his mum regularly there is no pressure at all from the family to sign for them, he’s an ambitious lad but also has a sensible head on his shoulders and hasn’t ruled out staying with the club for another season to gain more top flight experience BUT if he does go, he wants to go somewhere he will play regularly. I actually think he’d consider a move to an Aberdeen or a Hibs far more appealing. I’m not saying if Rangers came in for him he wouldn’t go to them, but what I am saying is that would be his decision not his families, they are good people, and just want what’s best for Craig.

Saunders will do a decent job in the Championship, he looked a bit slow and lethargic when he started out for us which didn’t really adhere him to the fans but he’s obviously got a wee bit about him. Hope he does well for you guys and propels you up the league. Also hearing Mathew Knox is to head out to Berwick on loan.

I believe Saunders has been told he’s free to find another club, probably end up back at TNS, that’s just me guessing though. Wouldnt surprise me to see Crane allowed to leave permanently aswell to free up some money to allow players to come in. I believe we have/had atleast 2 players on trial, Lionel Ainsworth and Nathan Oduwa, not sure if they are still with the squad.
