Yeh he’s a top bloke, really funny guy and quite open and honest which makes for a great listen. We could see the difference between Lee Miller who was very well spoken and could tell he’d had some form of media training and Stevie Lawless who was really open and happy to tell us everything we wanted. As you say it was particularly pleasing to hear what he had to say about the 3G pitches but he was also fair in his assessment, criticising Killie’s and Hamilton’s last season.

Fair enough, thought some thistle fans might’ve been interested in what he had to say, speaks well about his time with yourselves.

Yep, he should’ve taken advice from tyenlikes of Halkett and Kelly who had been in his position but made moves and have advanced their careers by doing so.

On the Hardie debate I can see both views, we are giving him some terrible service so he’s going to struggle but does he give you enough up top without the ball ? Look at Robbo today, he was outstanding at getting infront of his man, bringing the ball down, dragging defenders towards him leaving space for others. If it was me I think I’d rather see Tiffoney given more time infront of Hardie, he’ll be here next season, it’s unlikely Hardie will so let’s see more of what he can do, from what I’ve seen so far he’s got excellent potential.

He was in USA, can’t remember where about but he posted it on his Instagram story. I don’t think he’ll be at the club beyond the summer tbh.

I reckon we could probably lose every game from now until the end of the season now and still avoid relegation, if that was the case he still shouldn’t be worried about his job. The aim was to stay up, all this sack talk is a bit silly imo. If someone just showed us the points tally and never showed us the fixtures people would be saying that’s a good number of points at this stage in the season for us, more than what we expected. Win tomorrow and people start thinking above us again.

Tiffoney was making up the numbers today, he wasn’t fit to play. The injuries didn’t help us and left us very short, Pitts and then Lawson going off, that’s big blows to us, and our engine in the middle. Erskine wasn’t as effective today as last week, perhaps a reminder he’s not a striker, but what he done well last week he lacked this week. Agree with Hardie, he’s regressed recently but the so has the service to him and that comes hand in hand. We lacked someone to put their foot on the ball and take control of the game, normally Keags would be doing that but I thought he had his worst game of the season today. Very frustrating following us away from home this season, but the overall goal has nearly been achieved, before anyone jumps on me here, I’m not saying these performances are acceptable.

Hi guys...hope you don’t mind me dropping by and plugging my podcast, we are both novices at it and this is only our second episode so still perfecting everything. If you want to listen to it all that would be great, any feedback is appreciated, if not we do a preview of the game between the two teams from around 58 minutes to 1.08.00, we had Kyle Gunn on to help us preview the game. Got to say great credit to Kyle, he was extremely keen to come on and talk to us despite his speech impediment, good on him for not letting that hold him back. The audio during his interview isnt brilliant and it’s something we will look to improve on in the future.

Understand where you are coming from with the interview, i was disappointed with the audio, wanted to put it in though as Kyle was really keen to come on, Kyle has a speech impediment, but it’s great credit to him that he volunteered to come on and not let it hold him back.

To be honest I’m not a podcast listener either but thought we must be one of the only clubs not to have something like this and I’m interested in the subject matter so it was fun to put together, even though it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Its 48 minutes which is roughly about standard for podcasts, some are longer, some are shorter, there was a fair bit to talk about this week so future shows might not be as long and others might be longer. The audio is terrible but I got it from a 3rd party and in future we hope to have our own recording equipment set up so will be much better. Thanks again, hope you enjoy the rest.
