  1. Logie is spot on btw, read it all before Fwiw, One of our worst kits ever, only just outdone by the other kit you mentioned in the article imo. Xara was a decent quality top, although really heavy material, can't imagine running around for 90 minutes in it.
  2. Hearing he fractured his leg last night and will be out for at least 8 weeks, can't see him playing for us this season.
  3. Expensive squad, the clubs budget for the season is 400k, we have a squad of what 27 or 28 ? do the maths, we aren't paying over the odds for any of these players. Anyway that's not the argument, the argument was whether we play better football under him that we did under Hughes and that's easy, we most certainly are, it's still not great but it's affective, Hughes football was dreadful and ineffective.
  4. Funny, when I saw that my initial reaction was poor Bobby Barr. Tbf to Yogi his "philosophy" is a good one but only if you have the players to play that way, when he was at Livi he didn't and because of that it was just awful to watch, side to side and backwards passing, was some of the most boring football I've ever seen and stopped our creative players like Bobby flourishing.
  5. Pretty harsh, the 34 year old was always going to be number 2, he was signed to be number 2, Connor was a development signing, one for the future, when I saw him for the development team, he looked fairly comfortable.
  6. Never played for the first team, I think I seen him twice for the development side and done ok, seemed like a good lad hope he does well.
  7. Ok I'll admit it, I did "dangle it out there" I still thought it was a good article and a good read for me so thought other Livi fans would like to read it also. Btw Callum is most definitely an Airdrie fan, he goes to the games at Airdrie when he has a rare day off work.
  8. Don't shoot the messenger, I didn't write it, I thought it was a good read and pretty interesting, and I agreed with a lot of it "obviously because I'm a Livi fan" I just posted the article on the Livi thread.
  9. I don't take pleasure in sharing the Daily Ranger rag but this is a West Lothian courier article. Excellent read this and absolutely spot on. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/sportsview-livingston-deserve-more-credit-9779672
  10. He was, I even commented on that fact to a couple of mates, was clearly a buldge at the side of his ankle underneath his sock.
  11. Albion Rovers rearranged for Tuesday 21st February, 7:45 kick off.
  12. I'm quite surprised so many are wanting to see Todorov starting, I know Mullen missed 2 or 3 chances but he scored a great goal and was a pest for the Alloa defence all day, for me he was our MotM, felt he was outstanding, won just about everything in the air against bigger defenders all day, him and Buchy are an excellent partnership. Todorov certainly gives us something different but to me he looks clumsy, he's full of enthusiasm but I'm yet to be convinced, granted we've only seen him in cameo appearances so far.
  13. This is exactly how we've been playing, when in possession we are just about a back 3, Gallagher, Halkett, Lithgow with Crighton playing as a Right Midfielder, or as you say having the whole right side to himself, Cadden on the left with the 3 in midfield. Sounds absolutely ridiculous but that's how its been the last couple weeks.
  14. This Have to say does it really matter ? The crowd was down by about 150 from the previous game between the two teams, but because of the higher price we didn't lose out any.
  15. You could be right, he may be getting a bit frustrated, think it would be a massive mistake though, not many solid LBs out there.
  16. Fantastic news, Buchanan, Halkett and Longridge next please.
  17. Carrick rumoured to be heading to Cowdenbeath on loan, don't get this one either, I'm a big big fan of Dale Carrick, think on his day he is one of the best players at the club, you could argue that he should be in the team ahead of Danny Mullen on current form. Replacing him with Toderov seems like a poor piece of business but only time will tell. Hopefully it's a Morgyn Neill situation and he'll be offered a new contract at the end of the season because I think he'd be an excellent addition.
  18. Aww god here's another bloody Airdrie fan, you'd think they'd have more to worry about than Livingston Football Club eh Think we should re name this thread and all subsequent Livingston match threads to Livi and Airdrie....
  19. Don't know much about this boy. We have strengthened in every department now bar the position we lack a RB, I don't really see the need for this signing in all honesty, Carrick has been doing well and Mullen and Buchanan are the obvious starters, can't see how he's getting into the team but will wait and see.
  20. We had the joys of having two match threads to deal with Clyde fans in last season with being drawn against them twice, remember them telling us how we'd see them this season in league 1, they got 1 half correct in fairness The Airdrie lot seem particularly obsessed with us this season, and yeh some EF fans have an unhealthy problem with us despite most if not all Livi fans being nothing but respectful and complimentary of EF. I also remember the Ayr Utd fans, what a bunch they are on here
  21. Please don't take this the wrong way but feel free to stay away for the rest of the season from now...
  22. So with our manager debate fresh in our minds, who would be your starting 11, formation and bench etc... Think I'm gonna go with 4,4,2 in a diamond formation... Kelly, Longridge, Halkett, Gallagher, Crighton, Millar, Byrne, Jacobs, Pittman, Mullen, Buchanan. Maley, Lithgow, De Vita, Mullin, Cadden, Knox, Carrick Was also tempted with 3,5,2 despite us performing fairly poorly in this particular formation... Kelly, Halkett, Gallagher, Crighton, Mullin, Pittman, Byrne, Millar, Jacobs, Mullen, Buchanan. Maley, Lithgow, Longridge, Cadden, Knox, De Vita, Carrick.
  23. On a side note, we missed out on a hefty pay day due to the defeat yesterday, we'd have been drawn away to Celtic
  24. I did say that in the cup thread that a few EF fans would think I was mental, we simply haven't played well against EF, that's a compliment to your team as they have obviously stopped us playing well. I said in general we have played far better away from home, I don't think many Livi fans that watch us every week would disagree.
