He's always a pest for defences, puts himself about and I'm not going to lie is partial to throwing himself down a tad easily, good if he's in ur team and is winning free kicks but frustrating if you're the opposition. He really came on last season and I believe there was a few interested parties but as yet no bids have been made. This is a big season for him, if he can get 12-15 goals in the league then I can see him unfortunately for us moving on to bigger and better things.

We've held our own now against Hearts, Motherwell and Kilmarnock now, despite not scoring I'm not worried as we won't come up against teams as strong as these three during the season. 1 more friendly to go against Sunderland then we have our 4th premier league team Patrick Thistle to start the betfred cup campaign.

I think we lack a prolific goal scorer to push into the playoffs, if indeed u do mean the promotion ones. But I do think we are pretty solid defence to midfield and a good GK behind will make us fairly hard to beat. We should keep our feet on the ground because we won't get it all our own way like last season, we will lose a few games 8th is the target and if we finish above that then brilliant.

Superb signing, a good goalkeeper is worth a few points a season and that could very well be the difference between a good season and a poor one. Says a lot that nearly every Hearts fan I've spoke to would take him back to Tyncastle in a heart beat. Think we are almost there with recruitment now.

I had a look at there website a while back and they had quite a few things for us, from training tops to zippy jackets all of which looked really nice. Cant seem to find it now though. This at the time appeared to be our away top and similar design but colours reversed our home top, it's all gone quiet though.

He wants more money, and we aren't going to increase the offer so he's gone. I was extremely disappointed by him tbh, he should've scooshed league 1 but didn't really look that far ahead of anyone. His first game for us I thought, yep this is what it should be like, he ran the show, set up two goals but after that he just didn't do it for me. He was one that I wouldn't have been disapointed if we didn't offer him a deal so him turning us down is fine by me, I think we have better in his position anyway.

I think there is a 2 club rule but this is now a new season, so it starts all over again, so getting loaned to us would be his 1st club again.

Buchanan has doubled his wage with Raith Rovers, I'm told very reliably that we couldn't even get close to Raith on wages. In talks to bring back Toderov and have 1 or 2 others lined up, one from a newly promoted league 1 team.

I bare no grudges against Buchs for moving on, slightly surprised he's moved down a league but good luck to him, was a good servant the last couple of seasons scoring a load of goals along the way. Huge job for Hoppy to replace those goals now, not many strikers out there consistantly scoring 15-20+ goals a season. Think a GK and 2 strikers are needed now

Keaghan Jacobs is a another excellent signing, is for me better than his brother and has plenty of experience behind him. Maley is a decent back up, never let us down when called upon last season, he will be a back up, we won't be splashing the cash for him to be there so I'm quite happy with him staying.

Saw that and thought the same, not sure what to make of it if it is, it's certainly different. Also noticed we've been linked with Mark Ridgers, keeper at Patrick Thistle, story on twitter has been retweeted by the lad himself so something in it I'd imagine.

That is absolutely fair enough, obviously I was basing it on the 4 games we played you this season, all 4 games I've been disappointed in the Brechin performance and I'm not going to lie I was shocked you made the play offs, but fair play, you have and are now only 2 games away from promotion which would be an unbelievable achievement. Ofcourse a full time team should be beating a part time team but you just need to look at Dumbarton to see that isn't always the case, I was more going on the fact of what I had seen of yourselves and I expected Raith to be a lot better than what they obviously are. It was a brilliant result for you and I wish you all the very best against Alloa, as you say, on your day you can beat anyone right now so why not Alloa as well ? May the best team win.

The whole feel around the club is different, for a number of years now we had been struggling every year in the championship, not winning many games, bottom part of the league. This season we have won games, the fans have had a good connection with the players, something that hasn't been there either. We now have a new majority share holder, and it looks like we finally have someone who knows what they are doing, we are more secure than what we've been in a long time. We go into next season reinvigorated, with a winning mentality, we have better players now than what we have done over the last few years and for once we aren't going to be having to put a team together at the last minute like we've had to for a number of years. I do agree with you that it will be difficult and they could spend 2 or 3 years in league 1 but I never predicted anything for next season, all I said was it may help in the long run. I also agree that it is a shocker of an outcome, they should have been beating Brechin over two legs but that's football, it's hard to predict.

I have to say I'm shocked Brechin have got the better of you over two legs, one of the poorer sides I've seen this season but that's football eh, that's why the bookies win. What I would say is sometimes it helps to take a step back and freshen things up, we've done just that, and although it was disappointing to be relegated in hindsight it's helped the club move forward, it's been an enjoyable season and we are in a better place to take on the championship next season. Good luck to you, it won't be easy in league 1 but sign the right players and get a good coach and you should be fine.

Share issue has been announced, apparently the club are planning a fans forum in a few weeks time to discuss further ideas. Reading through EF comments, he has played RB this season, maybe filling that position ? If not that's now 8 midfielders signed up for next season, that's not including Keaghan Jacobs, Mikey Miller, Mark Millar and Jordan Sinclair. Would imagine the later two will be gone, and wouldn't surprise me if one if not both of the others won't sign up either.

Sorry lads, seems we are going around sweeping up every midfielder that's out of contract. We now have 8 midfielders signed up for next season and 3 out of contract that I thought may have stayed. Going for a 1,8,1 formation I recon next season On a serious note, according to Hoppy he sees him as being able to play in a variety of positions, one wouldn't be RB would it ? It's a position we are looking to cover, just a thought.

Where is his usual position ? I can remember being impressed by him but paid little attention to his position, probably because I was thoroughly miserable every time you pumped us He'll do well to oust Pittman, Byrne, Keagan and Miller from the team (if the later 2 both sign contracts ofcourse)

We got a fee because they were part of the Sheffield Utd team that won promotion, dont think it was much maybe 15k or so but better than nothing.
