What's the truth then ? You clearly know. As far as I've been told he's came and demanded to be a regular starter, Hoppy has told him he will need to work hard to get into the first team and he's told him to shove it. As I say if you know better please share and I will hold my hands up. -

He's basically spat the dummy because he's been told he wasn't going to be starting every week. No time for billy big baws in our squad, that's no what this teams been about the last couple of seasons, it's been a close group and we don't want people coming in and disturbing that. Shame cos he looked a good addition and he would've got game time. -
Motherwell FC - A Thread For All Seasons

Apparently we are signing Jack McMillan on loan from you, talk to me, good for championship level, best position ? Thanks in advance. -

Jack McMillan, apparently we've been after him for some time, local lad who can play RB and CB. Made quite a few starts for Motherwell last season i think so looks like a decent signing on paper, certainly covers our defensive problems. -

Wouldn't it be a nice gesture if we left him out of TNS and he broke the record against QoS at home with his brother Kyle presenting him with a memento of the day ? Just a thought. -

I'm confused as to why a QoS fan has decided to come on here and give us it tight about our financial situation ? I mean I'd have understood it if we had just played Queens and there was a degree of controversy but it's just came from nowhere. Its strange he's chose now to have a go as well when we are arguably in the best state off the pitch we've been for a very long time. A QoS fan that knows nothing about my club has said let's wait and see so I'm now worried. -

The transfer hasn't been confirmed by ourselves and Forfar have completely jumped the gun. We want to send him on a development loan to play and have him available to play for our under 20s but because Forfar are in the same under 20s league we can't do that. -

By the sounds of things this is a great bit of business by Hoppy and the club. Will really push our 3 midfielders hard now which is only a good thing. We really are building an excellent squad, add another defender and if possible another striker and we will be pushing for a top half finish. -

Coll Donaldson was a bombscare with us in his first spell, was amazed we got a fee for him. Looking at reports he was just as much of a bombscare at QPR and Dundee Utd too. -

Defensive midfielder, just infront of the centre backs. -

Good player, unlucky to get injured early last season as he was a regular in the first team. He was offered a deal with us but as far as I'm aware his agent wanted more money from us and we refused. He was then offered another deal by us as he was struggling to find a club but again his agent advised him to turn us down. Bit of a kick in the teeth to the club after helping him through his rehab etc but that's football. He would be a stand out for you if he signed, he needs to get shot of his agent though. -

Yep, as has been said above our defence is arguably our strongest part of the team, we are short of a CB but we are strong in that area with what we have. -

There are so many variations on what we could play, I've yet to be convinced by Knox tbh, still don't think De Vita is suited to the wing especially having to track back but looked very good when he played centrally against Airdrie. I recon Longridge and Mullin/Cadden are better suited to the wing back role but only time will tell. -

Robinson looked very good when he came on against Stranraer but had surgery in the summer and is just back from injury. Brown injured himself in the first pre season game and has been out ever since. -

Jury was out initially, after all he's the guy who ended up getting us relegated, not many wanted him kept on but he was and he's proven a lot of people wrong. Hes done a very good job having built his own team of players, we are well organised and we look fit. He's learned on the job and fair play to him he now has more people on his side than against him, when you look back at some of the opinions on him that's taken some effort. If you offered us 8th we'd be more than happy I think but we do have a squad capable of finishing in a comfortable mid table position. -

Yes, Scott is Steve Pittman's son. -

Scott Pittman is pivotal to our success, when he plays well we tick. You could argue that Halkett and Gallagher at the back if they perform we will have a chance in every game. -

Alexander is our number 1, we are likely to be set up in a 3,5,2 formation but with wing backs so can also be a 5,3,2. Most likely line up, still to be decided but so far it's looking very much along the lines of :- Alexander, Gallagher, Halkett, Lithgow, Longridge, De Vita, Byrne, Pittman, Jacobs, Carrick, Mullen. you could easily replace Longridge and De Vita with Cadden and Mullin. Danny Mullen looks like our main striker and could be partnered up with anyone of Carrick, Toderov and Mackin. -

In order to avoid being shocked at the parking charge at the stadium I would advise you not to if you have the ability to walk a short distance. Plenty parking spaces just up from the stadium near the shopping centre, or there is parking facilities at the college, even better if you park at James young High school you can cross a bridge that will take you right to the away end. Hope this helps and you enjoy the game, not too much though.
