  1. Not bad! Only three wins behind them (and they have 4 stands too)
  2. What is going on at that 2nd goal? Does the dodgy keeper call the defender to leave it….then fail to save it? ….or does the dodgy play acting footballer wannabe shit haircut dude just decide he can’t be arsed heading the ball? I’m not sure where to find the accurate historical competitive head to head record between us two but we must surely be closing in on exchanging the “wee team” title based on it? Can someone provide it? Loved the save, didn’t have really anything else to do that whole game but the one thing he did have to do… he done it extremely well! Without any time to think, he is a top class goalkeeper…still needs to brush up on other aspects but that conversation is for another day (or last week!)
  3. Positives…result in Dundee, a clean sheet and relatively assured defensive performance. As far as an attacking display goes, pretty woeful. Is it a case of too many cooks? To go the whole of the 2nd half, shooting down to our end and offer zero threat is dismal. Morton were well drilled, very ‘robust’ and clearly playing with confidence. A draw wasn’t necessarily the wrong outcome but if someone deserved to win it was certainly them! Away fans made plenty noise for the small numbers, out sang our 4,000 sweetie wrapper rustlers for 90mins. One thing that confused me… Why, for the last 5/10mins were the Morton defence (MacDonald in particular) wasting time? With ourselves and Utd stuttering, Morton aren’t a million miles away from getting in the title picture themselves. It’s not like we were the dominant force going in to the closing stages! if anybody was going to win, it was them so for some of their players to ‘accept’ a point with plenty time left doesn’t say a great deal for their mindset
  4. Time to top up my weekend balance… Thanks in advance to both sides, Dunfermline for being complete shite and Partick for confirming it, all while on live tv for the viewers’ pleasure.
  5. Although most won’t want to consider it and indeed, it’s not hugely likely, we are currently in a title battle and if that goes tits up, there are the play offs to fall back on. Do sides like Livi or Ross County strike fear in to many? My point is, with all due respect, are these out of contract guys premier league players? No. Maybe Matthews at a push but it been a long time since he has stayed fit and had a run of games. We need to reevaluate at close of season. In the meantime I would like to think these players continue to give their all to either change peoples minds and/or to win themselves a gig somewhere else for next season. Im hoping all this talk of infighting is being blown out of proportion
  6. We are a good result in our next fixture from being right back in a title hunt. Im as dismayed as everyone else with the recent performance levels on the park along with the somewhat baffling decisions from the manager however he isn’t going anywhere and if the arabs do end up pulling clear at the top then we still have plenty time to sort things out and make sure we go in to the play offs in a good place. As much as they have stunk the place out last half dozen games, the players (and management) deserve the opportunity to turn things around and we should be backing them as best we can.
  7. Dunfermline channel their inner Masterton. Cheating b*****ds.
  8. “Double substitution for Dunfermline…leaving the field No9 Craig Wighton and No14 Alex Jakubiak… to be replaced by the water cooler and a traffic cone”
  9. Surprised the pars didn’t bring the water cooler on at half time for one of the front two to inject a bit more pace and presence. It must be carrying a knock?
  10. I agree. I’d like to think Stanton is in the managers’ thoughts too as competition/cover for McTominay.
  11. I’m fine with taking a chill pill tonight, sure, there was so much wrong and if Utd had won, I’d be way more pissed off but they didn’t, we are still 5pts clear which everybody would have took at teatime.
  12. We have so many options available at the moment up top. I wouldn’t be adverse to Murray giving Vaughan and maybe even Easton a wee rest by starting out with them on the bench, especially if he plans to play them on Saturday. Guys like Smith and Gullan are more than capable of replacing them as their recent cameo appearances have proven. Not concerned by Lewis’s injury history as another poster brought up earlier…he has looked fitter last couple of months and for a a longer period of time than he has in years, just feel it’s a chance to freshen one or two up since we currently have the luxury!
  13. Cheers but now saying no tickets available?! Are they all gone already?
  14. When I click on the link for bus to Dundee, I get (see photo) Can anyone help?
  15. Our 9 league wins are all by a single goal margin, we are undefeated at home while Thistle have lost only one on the road (way back in early August) Most stats point to another tight game but so longs the injury list isn’t any worse by Friday, it’s hard not to be confident right now. TV game.. chance to go top of the league…years gone by you know we blow it but this squad has that something different about them this season, looking forward to it.
  16. Beautiful comeback from a squad that fights tooth and nail for each other til the bitter end every week. Another Sat evening that I’m so proud to support this club. Oh, and nae luck Ferguson… Big Dunc? Big Fud mair like
  17. Plenty tits in that Falkirk side but none to match Melinda Messenger’s
  18. Hello friends. Was wondering, hypothetically if ourselves and Falkirk make the final of Diddy Cup, do you think your club would entertain the idea of the final at East End?
