  1. Really like the Falkirk effort, as mentioned, sponsor is a bit weird, had to Google it cause thought it was a slug but apparently it’s a carrot! Hope Brad and Tom have bought shiny new buckets and spades for the upcoming season..
  2. Nice to hear Agent McGlynn acknowledge that you were right in the tie for first 7-8 mins
  3. Nonsense. It was a wee bit naughty at worst. The play acting to get a fellow professional sent off is bad shit, hope someone has a serious word with the boy.
  4. I’m all for defending our own players and that but come on, two awful attempts. Hopefully Dylan Tait’s parents enjoyed the match.
  5. Is it only one marquee loan signing we are getting or is there room for another one or two? Incidentally, was reading the views of several Hartlepool fans last week who all agreed Tumilty was the worst full back to ever play for them. Wish we could swap Millen for him to see if they change their minds…
  6. Cant say I’ve really been following their progress but don’t imagine Morton being much of a different proposition from last year. All due respect n’ that but we need to be focusing on what WE do and imposing ourselves on our opponents far more than we did on Saturday, 1st half especially. If no new faces arrive beforehand, I would like to see something along the likes of… MacDonald Millen O’Riordan Nolan Dick/Ngwenya Stanton Brown Connolly Ross Easton Gullan
  7. Where are these ‘reports’? I can’t seem to find much on him at all
  8. The halcyon days of your avatar are long gone unfortunately
  9. I know it’s not nice to discuss it really but this is surely Lewis’ last shot at being a professional footballer? As much as we all love him and want nothing more than to see him put his injury hell behind him… the odds aren’t in his favour and Murray would be foolish to be pinning much hope on Vaughan playing an integral roll to our season. Lang hopefully comes good but again, even if he is to get back to 100%, it isn’t going to happen overnight once he gets the green light to play again so we certainly need two new CB’s. Remember Berra struggled himself last season with one or two knocks and isn’t getting any younger either. It seems year on year we have the worst luck with injuries. To hear Spencer and Matthews are out for months too now is just shit. We clearly need one or two strikers in, expect they might be be from the loan route…
  10. You need to also factor in the people who might have been in attendance that instead paid to watch game/s online.
  11. I got 7/2 for Ayr ht/ft, had £100 on it. A certain Mr Dennis who owned a pub was in the loop as it was him who ‘suggested’ I bet Ayr
  12. True. He found a bit of form around winter time but 2nd half of season was a washout. I’m not a football scout so mainly going on the games I seen him play for Alloa, both against us and on TV. No idea what happened to him at QoS, could be one or a number of reasons he never kicked on but I certainly wouldn’t be writing him off based on the last few months in a really poor Queens side.
  13. Glad someone mentioned Dick, seems a nice lad and all but his level of performance over the season was average at very best, hopefully finances don’t dictate that because we have him signed up for a further year we won’t be exploring another player for his position… Lewis Strapp is out of contract at Morton in two weeks, would love to see us move for him, would be a serious upgrade. I’m all for the new gaffer cherry picking the best players from Airdrie if possible, at the same time not going mental, one maybe two… as we see on here, mixed reviews on the mentioned names from Airdrie fans and the championship is a step up from where they have been plying their trade, mention of the Celtic boy on loan at Ayr recently is interesting mind.. Another player we have seen plenty of against us is Innes Cameron, doubtful he will be in Killie’s top flight plans next season, if he isn’t, would love to see him in a rovers shirt, maybe on loan? Big, strong, athletic, holds the ball up and knows where the goal is too. Only 21 so can only get better.. Important couple of months shaping our squad, is it inevitable that Benedictus goes to Falkirk? If so we basically need to sign a whole defence, Berra isn’t getting any younger and signs were that his’ niggling’injuries are taking longer to heal than they once did, can his fitness be relied upon? Lang still out for months with no guarantee his return will be seamless so we will need another two centre backs, a new right (and preferably another left) back Midfield/wide seems fine, especially if one or two of the players mentioned earlier that played for Murray join him at Starks. Don’t really want to think about up front, Vaughan may return close to his best and stay injury free while Gullan finds his best form on a consistent basis… sad reality is that neither may happen and we are looking for another two or even three strikers… Anyway, I went off on one there, just wanted to say I want us to sign another left wing back, that is all.
  14. Talk of McGlynn leaving or not at end of season? For me it comes down to the football, if it weren’t for events of last couple of weeks then our form in last 10 games or so would be getting seriously questioned and scrutinised far more than it is. ’If’ he can get us performing again, winning games and us having a decent fist at playoffs then I’ve no real issues with him still being here next season, if we plod on as we currently are then he would have to go, we have been regressing all season despite adding to squad. Whatever happens, will always be held in huge regard from myself for his hard work and dedication.
  15. We done plenty right and certainly could have been out of sight but in crucial moments, again we have defended like schoolboys. Frustrating. That strike to make it 3-3 though! Deserves an Andy Gray “take a bow son” Technique and movement generated on ball was something else
  16. Pretty much how I wanted us to set up, maybe would have had Matej in with Zanatta on bench and Ross out left
  17. Calm down! I presumed you were basically saying he didn’t assault anyone but Goodwillie did and we are paying Goodwillie while yous aren’t paying Hardie for his services. If I got that wrong, which I guess I did then I apologise!
  18. The post I replied to basically suggests it wasn’t assault and you don’t pay him so all is good
  19. Just a two year+ campaign of physiological abuse and stalking of his ex partner. That’s fine though cause he never layed a finger on her and also helped you get promoted?
  20. Sigh, I was against signing Goodwillie because of the obvious backlash. Disappointed in our club who constantly bang on about being a family club, a community club, just going to cause division in so many ways. I won’t be boycotting or losing as much sleep as others either. I would like to think he has improved considerably as a human being since those days but was/is he a ‘rapist’? I’m not so sure, in fact I’m very doubtful reading the evidence in civil case. Big difference between a calculating monster who goes out there to rape innocent women and what is known of this night in question. I could be a mile off but at same time, Goodwillie’s version of events could be 100% truthful
  21. Don’t think it is in question Morton were the better side for vast majority, could and probably should have had another several goals when you consider near things, misses and possible pen/s. Biggest disappointment is the Morton left back didn’t commit a really bad foul on our left back so Leanne would have had to discuss the ‘Strapp on Dick’ incident with big Chris League is really getting away from us now, McGlynn needs to shake things up and soon
  22. What’s the opposite of ‘great advert for Scottish Football’? This is it Nil nil is fine though
