He has been training with St Johnstone under 18s as well to keep fit -
And how are you ever going to fix a pitch at the end of a winter season? Unless we have a 3 or 4 month break thats not going to work at all The leagues like Norway who do have a break from December to April still had big issues with grass pitches at the start of last season. (Most teams play on Astro in Norway)

Some of the utter nonsense that people get paid to write in these reports The traffic one is beauty , problems listed such as people possibly turning the wrong way onto the Kingsway or continuing into the car park at 50 MPH -

Hes Edinburgh based, so Dunfermline will shorten his commute. -
if the league winner has an SFA Licence they could go into a potential 3 way play off with the North Caledonian league and North Regional league (Aberdeenshire etc) to then play the bottom team in the Highland league. There has only been 1 winner of all 3 leagues with a licence thus far when Banks O' Dee won the North Regional league they should have played Fort William but that match never happened as Fort William withdrew. Only Lochee United and Tayport hold the licence at present for the 20 Midlands league teams I am not aware of the existence of development squads

That is true Im on the St Johnstone media team and at every game we play at Tynecastle someone in out Tartan Army group who has a seat in the stand behind the goals is able to walk to the main stand and we have a chat at half time.

I went along on Saturday to tick the ground off the list and see how bad this team could be. it was a strange game, Linlithgow had multiple chances and hit the woodwork a few times but the students had the lead at half time 1-0 Total collapse in the second half , not sure if they ran out of steam or Linlithgow just upped the game to another level The Uni keeper looked decent with a couple of great saves. 95% of the crowd were away fans, with a small band of home Ultras

don't think it would "Automatically unlock more fans" but being nomadic is one way to kill a club, we are seeing young groups of fans attach themselves to teams at all levels, down to tier 10, they wont do that with a team with no home. Short of parents taking their own children where do the new fans come from, until you get back to Glasgow or where ever you put down long term foundations

Whilst we could get Denmark and Hungary from pots 2 and 3 we cannot get Israel as they like us are in pot 4 (as are the other promoted teams) -
Premier In: the EOS Premier Division 2023-24
realmadrid replied to HibeeJibee's topic in East of Scotland Football League
TBH I think both will be happier in the first than being in the Premier which with both not having too big a support has been a step too far. Luncarty loss of the manager to Jeanfield and the departure of some of the better players alongside the focus being on the Scottish cup run has not helped in the first half of the season. -

Newburgh are looking for a new manager https://www.newburghjfc.com/news/club-statement-2831342.html -
At what point does that change, if the club were in league 2 that ground is almost too small.

I was at your away day at Gala last season on a groundhop and its one of my best games of 2023.

So say you do stay up , which i think you will and Cumbernauld Colts come up would you not go to those games?
-
Players are paid at all levels in the East of Scotland league down to tier 9 (Linton Hotspurs were not this season but are next ) and id take a flyer that they are all the way to tier 10 in the west so by dropping to the lowland league you would only be half way to being a league above the amateurs.

Is there any movement on the plans as announced in 2017 then 2020 to build a proper ground for EK?

That is one of the strangest questions ive seen on here ever People stayed Clyde supporters when they were relegated from the Championship and league 1, its not England with the fake tourist fans from Asia who only support a team in the Premier League. The clubs issue is not having a home, without that there is no hope of getting any new fans in Hamilton and like many organisations such as a church the members (supporters) can only be getting older and passing away so the support will fall to a point that the club in its present form cannot exist. It was obvious from the outside that trying to sign quality from the bottom of the league would be hard but i still think at this stage what you have signed should be enough to get you to 8th or 9th. You should then have a seasons grace as Edinburgh City will be club 42 next season if they keep to the promise of living within their means . Getting past this season is the understandable priority but after May there has to be a push to get back to Glasgow , even in a rented ground and put down some roots again or some of the prophets of doom on here will be correct.

Yes Plus in his time at Saints both as an assistant and as manager we would sign released players at the start of February using contact down south. Dont panic if you don't get any additions today. -

That's the way Callum Davidson manages, you are either with him or gone. If the player did not react well to being dropped there is a door and hes going through it. You need everyone singing from the same song book in your position. -

1 Leeann Dempster the media seen taken in by her , but look at the mess she left Queen's Park in, the state of the ground she thought was adequate and the costs they will have to fix things, a fraud of a wage 2 The Marr brothers, how they can show their face in Dundee after what they did to the club astounds me.. 3 Pat Bonner- How he gets a gig on the BBC knowing nothing outside of Celtic and Rangers sums up large parts of the media 4 Scot Gardiner - Sacked at Dundee, Sacked at Hearts, loathed in Inverness yet cannot help himself with media appearances etc, the fact hes from Dundee and supports a team from Glasgow says it all 5 Chris Boys, born Irvine , first team Kilmarnock, whole life a team in Glasgow, offers nothing on Sky but a sour face when things dont go the way of his team 6 Chick Young - You should have retired 20 years ago 7 Derek Adams - lets destroy the product that pays your wages 8 Laura Brannan - Ex Motherwell media team and very opinionated mouthpiece with some wild view 9 Todd Cantwell - The whole Todd the prod thing summed him up, he knew what he was doing, only up here for easy money at Rangers 10 Tom English /Ann Budge - How he was taken in by her , yes her money saved Hearts but that main stand, how much money did her family make on that? and the Hearts relegation saga
