  1. AGAIN! Jesus H Christ! WTF! You need fvkking banning! Yours, MODS! HELP ME! HELP ME! aDONis
  2. FFS at the mere mention of his name, the image of Mark Kerr popped into my head, then that of Stuart Duff. (Oh man! The fvkking counselling bills)! Yours, shaking back and forth muttering 'it wasn't real, it wasn't real, you just imagined it, it wasn't real' aDONis
  3. Some clubs simply won't be able to afford/budget for doing that. Well done to those that can, but it is no shame if your club can't afford such largesse. Yours aDONis
  4. They may not have had a physical vote to end the season (because I don't think there was one), but they had previously given that authority to the board, and with it, the prospect of Hearts being relegated. From the 18th of May. 'This decision enables us to help clubs stay afloat' - Doncaster SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster gave his thoughts in the official statement... “On Friday, Ladbrokes Premiership clubs expressed their clear and unanimous view that there was no realistic prospect of completing the outstanding fixtures from Season 2019/20. The SPFL Board met this morning and in line with the express agreement of member clubs in April, the Board determined that League Season 2019/20 and the Ladbrokes Premiership be brought to an end. “This decision now enables us to pay out around £7 million in fees to help clubs stay afloat during this incredibly difficult time. We will begin processing these payments immediately. “The focus of all those involved in the game will now turn to how we get football up and running again safely as soon as possible. Next season’s Betfred Cup first round group stage is scheduled to begin in mid-July, with coverage from Premier Sports. The 2020/21 League Season in all four of our Divisions is due to commence on 1 August, which coincides with the start of our new and exclusive five-year broadcasting deal with Sky Sports. “Nobody should be under any illusion as to how complicated and difficult a challenge it will be to return Scottish football to normality. We will be liaising with Government on the best way forward and working to ensure that all of our 42 clubs are playing football again as soon as humanly possible.”
  5. In fairness to the loon, he has been at Bournemouth for seven years. I've never felt any ill-will to the lad. He was far too good to be getting scythed down by the likes of Ross Tokely. Yours aDONis
  6. St Mingens kit is a stunner! Best I've seen for years, I'm as green as a bit of cheese! Murderwells are for the nth year running, both excellent. HIVs home is good, away is nah! Aberdeens are not excellent. The home one is a complete no from me, and the away one was close to excellent, but completely ruined by whatever the f**k they've done with that patch, for the sponsor! (And I bought the gold-ish kit we had, so I'm not fussy, but you know these must be bad if I'm complaining). We could get relegated this season for crimes against man-made-fabrics. 7. My ten for todays' pop pickers are; Billy Bragg - Levi Stubbs Tears The Wedding Present - Come Play With Me Randolph's Leap - Deep Blue Sea Billy Bragg - Not Everything That Counts Can Be Counted David Guetta - Gettin' Over You (ft Fergie) Sammy Davis Jr - Mr Bojangles Sam Cooke - You Send Me Talking heads - Life During Wartime Sweet Baboo - Y'r Lungs Randolph's Leap - Light Of The Moon Top pick from that lot? I think I picked them up on the suggestion of someone else on this forum. Yours, Picture this, I'm a bag of dicks. aDONis
  8. I have become a child of the iPod generation and find that it is very rare for me to listen to albums. I tend to just shuffle my library. 10. The Streets - Turn the page, from Original Pirate Material
  11. Missy Elliot - Work It Ohhhhhhh Yeeeeessss!
  12. How can this be into it's second page and nobody has mentioned 'The Man Who Sold The World'! I'm not even a Bowie fan and know that he was a genius! Also, Under Pressure is about the only bit of Queen, that I listen to. Yours, ha-ha-ha, tee-he-he aDONis
  13. I remember hating the yellow sweatshirt with Hydrasun (no... me either) emblazoned on it. I would now sell my children to get my hands on one. Also, Miller and Kennedy... You can just hear the ladies going 'Why Mr Darcy!' Yours, that must be the greatest collection of humans ever assembled in one place. aDONis
  14. Short memory my erse! I refer you to my post of the 9th of May. My memory is good enough to remember another 5 seasons that Farce of Midlothian FC weren't of any interest to the top flight! Get doon... again! Yours aDONis
  15. Aye St Fermers, learn yer lesson! Ye fvkkin book balancing knvts, with yer 6th place and only 50+% more points (in less games) than the not at all embarrassing Hertz (get doon... again)! 16. I am torn when it comes to Shankland. He was very well regarded at the michty, michty Dons, but... then it felt like overnight, he was persona non grata... and gone! Part of me wants to see him absolutely fly, but if he does, there is another green-eyed part of me, which will look on enviously and think 'what could have been'. Yours, ach, go on yersel, loon! aDONis
  17. I'm in a minority of one, but I thought the 8 - 8 - 8 split after 22 games was a brilliant idea. It effectively produced euro place football for the top 8, play-off football for the middle 8 and relegation football for the bottom 8. Convoluted... yes, but not any more so than what we have now (anyone for 18 home games and 20 away)? I genuinely think it would have generated more interest and excitement than anything else I've seen proposed. Yours, I'm nae Wiggy, bit I dee spik a wee bitty like him. aDONis
  18. Link is obvious Al Stewart - Year of the Cat
  19. Something has gone missing from Wilson. You can see from some of the stuff that he does, he could be head and shoulders above the rest of the league... but then... meh! It feels like he's never quite 'on-it'. Or that he just doesn't relish it/ isn't enjoying it. I do wonder if he's ever pain-free, because he just seems to be a bit reserved. You just know that he is a talent, and a talent that you'd want to see play. I was always just waiting for him to properly burst out of his chrysalis and show people what he was capable of... Does he deserve 2/10? I'm not sure, AFC certainly invested heavily in an injured player. A debt that he didn't manage to repay, but he was never a complete liability, so I'd up it to 3 or 4. That having been said I wish him all the best for the future, he's still young, so I hope he finds his mojo. Yours aDONis
  20. I absolutely agree. I still think that AFC badge is the best badge I've ever seen. Less is most definitely more! Yours aDONis P.S. you can also tell from that photo that Niall agrees with me. (That's his ecstatic face, only his 'I've just relegated Dundee' face is happier)
  21. Both kits are just not quite right for my tastes (and I bought last seasons away kit)! I don't like funny necks, they can be crew, v or collared, but the home one feels like a mix. The away one, is very close to being my favourite one since the black and yellow , or Zeroali white and red one, but... the sponsors patch looks like an afterthought, and it just grates on me a bit. Still a lot better than that light blue effort we had EUUUCHH! Yours, polyester aficianado aDONis
  22. I didn't think he was particularly good in that game (clutch kick from the touchline to win it aside) [In fairness I'm terrible about remembering games in great detail, because the tend to merge in my mind, so I might be talking shite]! Still fondly remembered by me for the time he scored 21 points in a 21-17 win v South Africa! Yours aDONis
