  1. Sorry to hear the reason you got yours - ours are for older family in the 'High stand' ourselves so I hated the thought of them getting demolished. I hope Nelms is true to his word on it, as it would be a nice touch to preserve them along with some of the other historic parts of Dens.
  2. My family have a few too so that's a great bit of news - seriously expected them to be too expensive to reuse
  3. Yeah, something like them or any interesting old detail pieces as features in the entrance areas or something... + It'd probably never happen but I'd like to see the fan bricks get reused too but recycling them is likely to be way too expensive.
  4. Not sure how much of an issue that'd be now they've supposedly dropped the idea of filling in the corners but the stands have been up for a while now so can't imagine they'll come apart as easily as they first intended... Saying that, I do hope they find a way to incorporate some bits of Dens into the new ground - even if it's just a few identifiable pieces for nostalgia!
  5. Yeah, some of the candidates are proper piss yourself funny suggestions - I assume/hope they're from DAB's at the wind up or some of our support need help!
  6. The Tele have released the list of who folks thought should replace McCann from their poll too... Robbie Neilson: 28 votes David Hopkin: 25 Jim Duffy: 22 Gordon Strachan: 20 Jim McIntyre: 16 John Hughes: 10 Tommy Wright: 9 Kenny Miller: 8 Peter Houston: 6 Jimmy Boyle: 4 Jocky Scott: 3 Barry Smith: 3 Alan Stubbs: 3 Steve Clarke: 2 Temuri Ketsbaia: 2 Ally McCoist: 2 James McPake: 2 Georgi Nemsadze: 2 Mick McCarthy: 2 Paul Lambert: 2 Ian Cathro: 1 Dave Martin: 1 Jim Long: 1 Lee Clark: 1 Rab Douglas: 1 Walter Smith: 1 Stewart McCall: 1 Stewart Petrie: 1 Charlie Adam: 1 Paul Hartley: 1 Fabian Caballero: 1 Pat Nevin: 1 Morgan Wieghorst: 1 Owen Coyle: 1 Joe Jordan: 1 https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/fp/revealed-these-are-the-men-dundee-fans-want-in-charge-if-neil-mccann-leaves/
  7. I thought @fitbatweets did a good job with this one
  8. I agree with your earlier post + McPake & Boyle deserve it after their success with the wee Dee. If we're going with the available scottish managers tho, then Neilson would probably be my choice (tbf the list of options is fkin dire tho).
  9. Pretty much bang on for me Boo + I'm wondering how much of McCann's tactical fuckwittery was behind Caulker & Wighton wanting away
  10. that 1200 people that voted need to take a serious look at themselves They're the ones saying the same as most of us tho - he's not doing a good enough job... It's the 350 odd that think he deserves longer... Unless you think he's going to pull some results together after the international break? Here's the link to the story - https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/fp/poll-results-dundee-fans-give-clear-verdict-on-whether-neil-mccann-should-stay-as-manager/
  11. Tele running a couple of articles & a poll on us today. One article from an interview yesterday is saying McCann has confidence in teams ability just thinks we're lacking confidence & the other saying we let Caulker go, coz he didn't want to be here anymore... No mention of his issues etc - the decision was supposedly made on the basis of not wanting to have an unhappy player unsettle the team. & The poll on McCann - 1200+ votes to go v 350+ votes for him to get more time.
  12. Is that not just for the 'business park' part of the project? I'm sure they'd said that they were looking to get partners in back at the start anyway...
  13. Me neither tbh - especially Moussa getting a 30 yarder
  14. The wee Dee are 4-0 up against the baby Rangers... Moussa, Mendy, Ngwatala and Scott all scored so far
  15. Only if it's to punch McCann in the puss til he see's some sense
  16. Cammy was superb against Cadden in the last game. Limited him to nothing with Motherwell creating nothing and then Parish threw one into his ney I'd be happy to see him at RB Harry, but can't help but worry he will be targeted as being out of position. & If we insist on playing the narrow diamond in midfield he won't even be able to get any support from the player in front of him... Am I right in thinking we don't actually have a single left sided player on the park today?
  17. DFC twitter saying Kamara and Ralph are both out injured apparently. I'd still rather we put Calvin out on the left rather than hang Cammy out to dry again playing out of position.
  18. I'm sure it will be - still doesn't change the fact it's a pathetic thing to do about a comment wishing a guy with mental health issues well.
  19. ^This^ Can't believe some sad b*****d has red dotted it tho - some pathetic fuds just can't help but show their lack of class I guess
  20. We know - just like you love your animal husbandry and your massey fergusons
  21. Just been announced as resigning with the Fermers along with Callachan
