  1. 300 euros a pop. Probably, but the thought of selling them on to a Liverpool, Chelsea or Manchester City fan gives me no pleasure. Mind you they might get turned away at the turnstile for not having Mr A. Fifer on their passport
  2. Turned down the chance to purchase Champions League final tickets. East Fife once again not involved
  3. No, definitely coffee, vodka and some kind of coffee liqueur
  4. No school kid in Scotland ever learned how it ended as it ran through the duration of the English school holidays.
  5. I was in Glasgow today. The amount of polis used to control what looked like a few hundred marchers and the counter-mob rabble was ridiculous. They must have outnumbered both mobs by 5 to 1. I was previously in the let them make an arse of themselves camp. But the participants should have to pay for the policing of these events in my opinion now.
  6. Templeman was a class act. I mind telling an Arbroath fan at a play-off game v Forfar that he was head and shoulders above everyone else on the park (he was on more than one front). The guy wasn't having it. Temps destroyed them over the two legs. As for the original question, I thought Steve Archibald was a bad appointment as manager.
  7. 2-0 and Jack Hamilton still to ship a soft one. Not looking good for the Dees. They did come back from a similar scenario earlier in the season though, so fingers crossed
  8. There is a coffee/ vodka type one that my daughter introduced me to. Looks like a wee glass of Guinness. Not a fan of cocktails, but thon was braw
  9. Does the Silvery Tay qualify as a chain, with 3 takeaways? If so, we have a winner
  10. Unlikely to happen, unless you are in the Championship with bigger away supports. You are in a similar attendance potential bracket as Arbroath, Airdrie, Dumbarton and ourselves. Not good, occasional decent crowds in the cup or derby games. It's tough going, but where we are at
  11. Can't believe the being tested positive for Tennents isn't doing the rounds yet
  12. Probably around 150 to 200. Same as the last time. Our away support is usually decent
  13. I was always intrigued by Hotshot's relationship with his father McMutton
  14. There aren't any online sites that have stats from pre 1921 or the wartime years. If there is any particular information that you need, I should be able to help from my own records
  15. For this season? The club website has that information
  16. Hot Shot Hamish was the man. I think he played for Princes Park. I got a letter published, helpfully pointing out that the crowds in the background were excessive for a Scottish lower league side, which won me a tenner
  17. To be fair, the non-mutants are giving a good account of themselves
