2024/25 - The season where marks are made
jimbaxters replied to Hossy87's topic in South of Scotland Football League
Pyramid schmyramid. The only bearing it has on that is the fact that they can remain at Tier 6 and play in the SC year after year. It's nothing personal against anyone involved with the club.- 168 replies

Again, if this was a slight downturn in their fortunes it would be acceptable. You and AAI quoting results from 9 years ago doesn't really add muscle to your argument. They lose EVERY match, the latest being 14-0 and in the SC they have lost 12-0 at home for the last two years. If Cupar Hearts play properly for 90 minutes later this month then a similar thing will happen. It is an indicative of the way Scottish football is run that it is allowed to continue. I'm sorry but they are pointless figuratively and they will pointless in the league for the foreseeable future.- 168 replies

I can think of no other team who have consistently lost to zero in almost every match. W&B are exceptionally rotten and offer nothing to any competition they're in, except an influencer of goal difference. Your comparison with Saltcoats holds no water as W&B take up a place in the Scottish Cup despite not having scored a goal in the tournament for 8 years. A quick Google says they have lost 57 goals and scored zero since 2015. Waste of time and money. Fact!- 168 replies

Nice sentiment but W&B are an utter waste of time. It's not a one or two season situation so should be euthanised asap.- 168 replies

Hampden are paying them. -
I will never ceased to be amazed at the propensity for football fans to shout for a manager to get sacked...even when it's not their team!

It would funny if Darvel got something from this game tonight with the committee spread on the four corners of the ground in a huff with each other. -

CLYDEBANK 2024/2025
jimbaxters replied to judge macbrayne's topic in West of Scotland Football League
Clydebank aren't Darvel as the money isn't coming from one source and they have plenty of fans, it seems. The only part that annoyed me was last week when there were one or two Bankies denying they were spending a lot. That's subsided now though. Let teams spend what they want. It will just be even sweeter when the Talbot take points off them. -

You are, andy. How else would you describe the above question being posed on the Clydebank thread? Debate is fine but don't deny you're deliberately trying to upset people. -

Fixtures for Saturday 17th August are;- Beith Juniors v Largs Thistle Pollok v Johnstone Burgh Ashfield v Irvine Meadow XI Forth Wanderers v Maryhill Dalry Thistle v Girvan Royal Albert v Port Glasgow Juniors It’s a cup week next week but there’s still at least one match on in each league for us. Good luck everyone!
