This is such a baffling argument, do you really think clubs are making money from not owning their own ground? Obviously owning your own ground is better for the finances of a club but it's very difficult to get your own ground.

It's just one mentalist constantly posting nonsense from his two accounts, best ignored

Another loss for Johnstone Burgh, 1 point in their last 5 and in serious trouble of not going up

New clubs in the West of Scotland

Ultimately though there isn't that much else you can do when most of the teams don't want to be semi pro so integrating the amateurs is nigh on impossible. I do think long term more leagues will be added to the WOSL or maybe further regionlised feeder leagues but as with everything pyramid related it will take years for anything substantial to happen. -
WoSFL Premier Division thread

I wonder if P&B existed back when teams still played on red/black ash that it would be filled with people calling to ban all teams playing on it -
First season of the WOSL was a 20 team league as well but that was just a temp thing

Troon don't have an SFA license so they don't qualify to enter the Scottish Cup

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy...

No real changes have been made to the ground, just the council reassessing the maximum capacity they gave us.

Fifa regulations are that any club that contributes to the development of a player will receive solidarity payments, I think in this case it will be a fraction of a per cent because of how little time he spent at the Buffs but even .5% of a transfer this big is good money -
Mullen and Jordan Allen were both suspended, not sure about Burns but he was unavailable as so that meant we had to play a right footed centre half at LB, and only had one right back who came off injured, though Barr I think did play RB for East Stirling for a bit so he isn't completely new to it. Think Docherty was deemed as not fit enough yet, and Gallacher was limited to coming off the bench because he missed most of pre-season

Nah, Giffnock did and I think even after the new astro is finished will continue to operate a lot of their youth teams out of the pitch next to St Ninians in Eastwood Park. Giffnock North play out of a pitch next to the running club just up from the Police station in Giffnock

Can't imagine he would want to come back to us

They changed it a couple seasons ago for "wider appeal". They are still playing at their old ground but there was talk about them selling it for housing and moving to an astro in the football centre just on the other end of the railway line, no idea if that is still happening or has been abandoned

If you think that 18 is enough for an amateur team there is no way you've been involved with one
-
Playing for and representing a club is a privilege and not a right, nobody is saying he should be ostracised from society but it's ultimately a position where you are somewhat of a role model and represent the club and to a lesser extent the sport. It's already a sport that is a very toxic and unwelcoming place for young women, imagine how much worse they feel when a club backs a player the day after he pleads guilty to abusing his partner.

Yeah you can stream to other countries but even with VPNs it's still cutting your already very small market, so personally I can't see many other teams doing it. -

Bankies were forced to stop the PPV for any game on a Saturday iirc -
By the sounds of their statement everyone involved was willing to give up ownership of the ground to the club, it was just a strange legal situation of the trust with nobody left alive in it that left them in a situation where they had to jump through some bureaucratic hoops before they could get ownership to build the floodlights.

Be a shame to lose Dunterlie but when I was there this season it was not in good shape, half the terracing cordoned off and just generally a bit of a mess. I imagine that repairing most of this would be close to financially impossible for even the bigger money clubs in the west so I understand why they would move on

I'm fairly sure Clydebank got in bother for streaming their games so I don't think you will be in the Lowland League either

Putting the team with some of the highest attendances in the grade in with Darvel, Johnstone Burgh and St Cadoc's is a level of bitterness that I can only respect -
Going to be strange seeing Leishman in goal for a team that isn't Talbot
