Hopefully be able soon to say to Annan "for you the chase is over, Goodbye."

He's no' very good a picking successful Clubs to support is he? Obviously didn't make his money doing the Pools. -
Aye, can't say I was too impressed with him either, although harsh to judge on limited times he has played and Bartley's tactics. maybe a slight upgrade on Logan (when played on left) and McIntyre, but Kilsby is probably better defensively if not attackingwise.

Did Bartley not have him on the wing in 1 game (v Annan), half a game anyway before being subbed, usually pretty central I would say. He's a handful for defenders, scored a good goal yesterday but, as you say, he's passed up a couple of decent chances in other games. Yet to get the full 90 minutes but playing as a lone striker he's bound to run out of steam. He's quite good with the ball on the deck so he's not just being used as a target man for punts up the park. -
^^^ Absolutely Brill.

Aye, I wasn't angling for any compliments.

It's a pity Trouten still doesn't play for Alloa or he could Plaice the ball right on Salmons head. True that crosses into the box often has the Queens' defence Floundering though. I can see this being another Bass-tard of a result for Queens, pretty soon there"ll be hardly a Sole turning up to watch.

Ten years ago our Board had plenty of ambition and aspirations for QoS, as time passed however that has steadily evaporated, lethargy and stagnation is the overriding feelings around the place. Whilst concentrating on reasonanly successful off-field ventures like The Arena, KGV, etc they've taken their eyes off what really matters. ie the 1st team and the state of the "stadium", and now it seems to have become too big a problem for them to solve so they're jacking it in en-masse and hoping some fresh blood can be found to reinvigorate the place. Good luck with that. As Bartley takes us to the very brink of possible relegation to the 4th tier of professional football and the stigma of being the worst ever full time team in Scottish Football history, the Board sit back ticking off the days until they can leave, seemingly content to let things slide and let fate take its course. I well remember the "Harkness Years" at Palmerston but the state things have sunk to under this Board has surpassed even Harkness's misrule.

Rubbing two sticks together would make him look more animated than he does now tbf, usually standing like a stookie at the side of the pitch watching on as his team invariably collapses. -

Aye, but will Bartley listen to anyone, experienced or otherwise? He seems to be so rigid in his beliefs about how we should play. -

What's actually happened to Ally Roy? Has he been injured and struggling to get back in the team or just further down the pecking order now? He was banging them in when he first joined you was he not. Sounds a bit like his time at QotS, looked fine, despite what Airdrie fans had predicted, scored a few but didn't feature too much after returning from injury. -

Sure he was a coach at Raith Rovers and had a spell in charge of Queens Park at the outset of their "journey to the top". He was brought in to QotS by Naysmith when assistant D. Anderson jumped ship early to take up his post at the SFA. Ellis also left QotS when Naysmith deservedly got his jotters. -

What's is Dougie Andersons successor Laurie Ellis (?) up to nowadays, always thought he put a bit of effort and vitality into the pre-match routines trying to gee players up. Not saying he should be a candidate for a long term appointment mind. -
Seems logical.

Sacred twelve now is it not?

As I already said. I want to hear that Bartley has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect (aka gardening leave) or preferably, that his contract has been terminated with immediate effect (paid off) anything that makes it clear he has been a major disaster, and not sugar coating it with "mutual consent" pish. -

Never mind this mutual consent pish, I want him sacked NOW. -

From the terrace it looked an absolute stick on he would score, about 6 yards out, glaring open goal, but it seemed to come off the top of his forehead. No excuses about ball too high or bad bounce, just a complete misheader imo. -

Actually thought last night's performance was the most competitive we've been in the games between us this season, although it did take us a while to get into the game and should have been trailing at half-time. We did at least look like trying to get forward more rather than parking the bus. Thought Todd's goal was heading over the bar but the deflection must have put some spin on it. Disappointing not to have held the lead for longer and once Falkirk made their first subs the game swung completely in their favour and the now inevitable collapse duly transpired. Well deserved win overall imo and fair enough winning margin. -

You don't understand that our players have just given up caring so no surprise at the lack of any complaints, they just accept decisions in the same way they seem to expect defeats. Too far away for me to see so can't say yay or nay to penalty.
