I tell a lie. Just checked and the £67 was paid in today. they just haven't arranged a bill.

In recent months I have been with the "Apollo" team. Not sure what this is but when I phone up, their automated system doesn't recognise my account number. When I get through, they take my details the transfer me to this team who deal with me. My meter readings are there on the site now, just no bill (and no cost of living refund)

This month, the OVO website wouldn't let me enter meter readings. I called them yesterday to say it still wasn't working, still no statement generated for January and still no £66 payment been made this month. The girl on the phone was very helpful, took the readings. The online system is having some sort of major issue, apparently. Hope it gets sorted out soon - I don't want to have to change supplier again. Leaving Scottish Power was just a ball-ache.

The folk here who work on rigs deny it, but I have it on good authority that there is a porn cinema on every oil rig. These guys spend most of their off hours in there watching 70s bongo movies.

The weirdest exit of a prominent poster I can ever remember. Wouldn't surprise me if he is back under another name.

I thought the Ambassadors of Death and Inferno were both excellent. The writing in Inferno was tremendous. They could have gone back to space and time sooner, though. Endless early-70s England episodes did get a touch stale.

Into the final series with John Pertwee. Jo is away, and that was quite poignant, and replaced by Sarah-Jane Smith. There'll be no more Roger Delgado, which is a real shame. So far I think Pertwee is my favourite of the originals. And Jo was a very good companion indeed.

I always thought that if he wanted to keep going back, write some stories about him as a young copper in the 70s. No need to have an octogenarian wheezing his way through a novel.
