    The wife comes home tomorrow, and we are off to watch the falkirk game when she gets back. Apparently she has raided Asda down south and is brining by back seventy cans of beer because "they were on offer". Might not be on much over the weekend...

    Easily the two best movies in the whole series. Khan coming in at all, never mind number 18, is a very special treat. I saw it at the cinema last year and that was an utter highlight, and by far the busiest I have seen a cinema in many years.

    Got to wonder at this. Yanks Entering F1 historically have underestimated the sheer amount of cash needed to make a competitive car. Gene Haas put in enough, he thought, to win the title. Go back to the BAR days and the story is the same.

    First movie I remember the hype around at the cinema. We queued for ages to get in the Allanpark in Stirling.

    Try varying your speed on the motorway between 60 and 90 whilst swapping lanes without indicating. That usually fixes it.

    My dad has been referred for an urgent scope down the throat. Urgent. Highest priority. He has been told it could be 4 weeks.

    Had my eldest step daughter, her boyfriend and kids over for dinner. The boys were great fun.

    I dreamed I invented a game. One guy would sit at the top of a chute, and I was at the bottom. I would use some plastic batons to knock a ball up the chute, trying to make sure the guy couldn't catch them. I also had to stop the ball getting past me at the bottom. It was a huge hit, I was delighted. Only now in the morning do I realise I "invented" a big pinball machine using dildos and a slide.
