    I was in a taxi in Watford many years ago, and the taxi driver had TalkSport on. Jon Gaunt had a right-wing talk show that was fairly terrible but the driver was glued.

    The irony here is that folk are saying that this vote by unelected peers is a threat to democracy. The very existence of the Lords is shameful in a modern democracy.
