  1. Its still incredibly close. County have two games at home against Hibs and Killie coming up. Win those and they're probably out of the bottom 2. Any of the bottom 5 could still go down IMO though United are probably the one side out of them that could go on a run and even make a late push for top 6.
  2. We've got Celtic at Parkhead next, so I doubt the extra day will make much difference.
  3. I think I'd rather have our business model of attracting good young talent from around the globe, paying slightly higher wages and then selling them on for profit, than the Killie way of signing aging injury prone journeymen. Shall we talk about whats the more successful strategy in May?
  4. Agree with all of this. Also have to say, however, that had auld Lizzy not died back in September and the entire country went a bit mad, we'd have been playing an injury ravaged and knackered Hearts in the middle of their Euro campaign while we'd have been at full strength. The postponement and subsequent re-scheduling has undoubtedly been massively in Hearts favour. Those protestants, up to no good as usual.
  5. I couldn't see any specific reference to this in the accounts, though could have missed it. Also, we have increased our non playing staff by 37 - who are they, what do they do, why do we need that number of non playing staff when in 2021 we didn't?
  6. His wages aren't even included in these accounts. I'm sure you'll put a couple of quid in the "Save our Saints" buckets when you visit at the end of the month.
  7. I think having a yearly loss of £1.6 million and a staff wages to turnover ratio of over 90% is significant cause for concern.
  8. elvis will never die. He is not a real person but was created in 1877, which is why he was there in the 1920's to see us lose 6-0 to Celtic, and is the reason for the pessimism we all feel as Saints fans to varying degrees. elvis was responsible for Hammarby, the 2010 League Cup Final and all the cup semi final defeats in the 80's. Mess with elvis at your peril.
  9. Was that the game where we were 2-1 up at half time playing against ten men and ended up losing 5-2? I think we won there 2-0 round about 2013 or 2014 when both teams were struggling but dont think we've won there since.
  10. Far from the sky failing in, our attendances have marginally increased in our fixtures against them since we restricted them to one stand, and we have the added bonus of a much better atmosphere and 4 points from those games, which I think is no coincidence.
  11. Why dont you follow Hearts, St Mirren and Motherwell and follow a fan ownership model?
  12. From where I was I would estimate no more than about 20% of Hearts fans clapped. If we had been playing Hearts the game after Sandy Jardine had died, I cant imagine not joining in to show my respects, I believe most Saints fans would do the same. Difference between decent human beings and cnuts I suppose.
  13. At least we'll have players out for two tough away games at Tynecastle and Parkhead - even with a full strength side we'd be lucky to get anything in those games. Much rather have players back for the much more winnable games coming up from the end of the month.
  14. Can't argue at all. Fraser could have not jumped in there. Definite red.
  15. I remember one game against Dundee I think, came out to collect a long ball, went through his legs and in. Can't believe he was capped by Scotland.
  16. It was 37 years ago, I think we should stop kidding them on about it.
  17. Its strange because these stats suggest a general deterioration for Erhahon, when most fans reckon this has been his best season. Shows what we know.
  18. Indeed, we need some of the wacko Killie fans in here to shake it up.
  19. Its the bit where he claims Kilmarnock are superior opposition
  20. Sorry, forgot it was usually Alan Power or Liam Donnelly who take the playmaker role
  21. McKenzie seemed to think it was a full force wallop given his clutching his face and rolling on the ground. Still, at least you have found a use for him, getting players sent off is clearly his forte.
  22. Henderson will be a very good player for you. He's been unlucky not to feature more for us, but he's been unlucky as we don't really play with wingers.
