Main has only really done it consistently in a Robinson team, his career outside of that is distinctly average. He's similar to Nouble in that respect, he's only really performed when at Livi (and Arbroath on loan last season). I know both are rumoured to be attracting English interest, but if they are looking at their career only and not the financial aspect (which they wont) they'd both be best staying put.

You also need to consider in the Dougie Ross factor, where he penalises the most working class team, which, given the game is being played in Feegie, will probably be us. Hopefully VAR will curb his excesses.* * Please don't tell me its Willie Collum on VAR.

Signed, hopefully this comes off, I'd imagine cost might be an issue for some clubs but surely SFA or SPFL could help, it would be a better investment than VAR. My son is also autistic but fortunately sensory issues aren't so much of an issue for him so he goes to all the games, can imagine for those with sensory issues football stadiums on match day can be a scary place. Hope this comes off and you're able to get your son to games.

True, top 6 is good because it keeps up a chance of top 5, but finishing 6th, especially if we end the season on a downer having lost to the teams above, isn't something to shout about.

It might not be bigger crowds - Killie or United would sell their ends out if coming to us in the midst of a relegation battle.

Top 6 is only important if we can get into top 5 and Europe. If we can't - and its looking more likely the city teams, as expected, will finish top 5 - I'd rather finish 7th and have the consolation of relegating a Killie or United. Much more fun.

Smith was a good player for us in our Championship winning side, apart from one game against Brechin where he was so bad he looked like he'd never seen a football before. Most of our fans thought he had good potential and wanted to sign him permanently, but it looks like he's not developed as well as we thought he would.
