"Most" clubs from the West couldn't, not a chance. Sure a few of the big teams would be tough competition and could potentially pull of shocks in one off games. However, they certainly wouldn't be able to compete at this level if they were paying players properly and not passing envelopes of cash around the place.

I went to a gym like that in Aberdeen. £20 a month (cash, whenever they asked for it). Full of massive guys, old equipment and no working showers. It was brilliant though, never too busy and everyone was really sound and would pass on advice. It didn’t last long though - fairly sure they were punting roids tbf.

No one is saying it is the fans fault but it’s only a football club, I’m sure the fans will get over it. Companies also go bust all the time though. People lose their jobs. It never has the same emotional reaction as football clubs - sure it’s for obvious reasons but it doesn’t make job losses any worse.
