  1. He's lucky for me. Knew what he had done and that's why he was pretending to be injured.
  2. Good defence, but felt like Navidi really had to score there.
  3. Amazing. Good excuse for the media to blame it all on a Scotland player as well! Some of the desperation for Curry not to be shite reminds me of the Grealish stuff.
  4. The SA ones? Will they be on the bench though?
  5. Jesus, Price really has to be favourite to start the test proper at the moment. He's currently better at everything than Murray.
  6. Scrum doing ok though, wasn't expecting that.
  7. If Russell got charged down and intercepted anywhere near as much as Farrell he'd be crucified.
  8. Murray having a bit of a 'mare already.
  9. Big, big night for Fagerson tonight. Bit of a bummer he's going to come on with Mako.
  10. I'm really looking forward to it!
  11. Yeah, both 2011/12 and 12/13 season teams were excellent squads that really didn't do as well as they should have, which is a bit of a bizarre thing to say when they won a cup, but even winning the cup highlighted the issues with that squad, they were often brilliant in the big games. They really rose to the occasion when the spotlight was on and there were headlines to be grabbed, but too often in the run of the mill games they just lost with a bit of a whimper. Danny Lennon is a legend at the club for winning that cup, but I think we all know that squad was a wee bit wasted on him.
  12. Good shout. I'm actually wondering who is due a good booing this season in general? JDH must have it coming.
  13. Yeah, sometimes you have to move on. I've not looked at B&W army in a while but wouldn't be surprised if there are still guys in there seething because we won't sign Jai Quitongo.
  14. Who do we reckon will be the first player to be hit with a sustained volley of massively over the top abuse for a fairly minor mistake tonight? Curtis Main has to be favourite with Erwin not in the squad and Erhahon only on the bench.
  15. This Oz v France game is mental in all the best ways.
  16. I also think we may be on the end of a bit of a doing. Almost a free hit in a way though, should have enough to beat Dumbarton and Stenhousemuir at home and hopefully 9 points is enough to take us through as one of the better runners up. We are usually pretty terrible in the league cup groups tbf, especially the pre season ones. We look a bit better prepared this time than usual, but I can't remember us ever beating the championship team (while we've been premiership) comfortably at this stage. In fact I'm struggling to remember us beating the championship team at all. Just watched those highlights from the weekend's game there and reminded me of our fans complete meltdown when we didn't sign O'Ware a few seasons ago.
  17. I have to be honest, I've never been gutted to see an England player miss a penalty before, but I was when Rashford missed his, though I expect I'll get over it. I don't get why Southgate was so desperate to get two guys on whose first touch would be a penalty when Sterling and "generational talent" Jack Grealish were on the pitch.
  18. The way things are going it's not really going to matter who gets picked because SA are going into this having barely played and probably under strength considering how Covid is ripping through the squad. Whatever happens now, there will be a big asterisk against this one.
  19. If a Scot had made the mistakes Davies, Murray, Biggar and Daly have made today there would be no coming back.
  20. Yeah, it's pish for the players. I think we were especially looking to get Ashman capped, England still sniffing around by all accounts.
  21. I tried to get into that last week but I found it quite irritating and chucked it pretty quickly. Is it worth sticking with?
  22. I thought it was a decent performance as well, even more so since a lot of those guys played at the weekend and were thrown in last minute. Some tough decisions to be made now. Starting front row for me has to be Sutherland, LCD and Furlong, but the bench looks difficult and a bit weak to be honest. Second row is Henderson and Itoge. I actually think Watson might have nailed that number 7, Curry was ok today, but not better. Rest of the back row is anyone's guess, especially No8 where nobody has really shone. In the backs I think Price has played a lot, and played well. Murray has had one very average game and Davies has barely played. Fly half is up for grabs, centres anybodies guess and back three Adams, VDM and LRZ are ripping it up while Watson and Williams have barely played.
  23. Anyone think Daly's kicking from the dead ball has been pretty shite? I'd fancy Russell or Farrell to have made more meters.
  24. They need to get O'Gara to f**k. He's brutal.
  25. Price has been great again. He's really laying down a marker and is going to be hard to ignore for a test spot.
