  1. That's quite a selection you've got there. I don't have anywhere near enough space to even dream of a collection like that. As an aside, I watched a bit on the programme about the Torridon Hotel tonight and they had, at first glance, an amazing whisky bar. On closer inspection they appeared to be serving the foreign tourists things like Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold. I'm sure they had some incredible stuff but seemed to be bulking it out with stuff you'd pick up in the supermarkets for £20.
  2. I'm not a Falkirk supporter but enjoyed that and he comes across really well. One point though, when you're talking about the historic jail I think you're mixing up Inverurie (in Aberdeenshire) with Inveraray (in Argyll).
  3. Currently enjoying a cask of Ghost Ship ale. Bit tricky to begin with but pouring really well now.
  4. Don't know anything about him but it sounds a bit far-fetched, a manager bringing in his son who nobody's ever heard of.[emoji41]
  5. He seemed to accept the Premiership is unlikely to want change but is interested in Aidrie's proposal for larger lower leagues.
  6. Yes and that's the point Findlay and Cameron were trying to make. They were never going to be able to agree any form of league reconstruction as the club's knew their final placing and therefore their position in any proposal. Self-interest would then scupper pretty much any proposal. There does appear to be an appetite amongst some for reconstruction but it needs to be proactive rather than reactive and be agreed for a year ahead.
  7. Findlay and Cameron did say they favoured reconstruction but this is the wrong time so perhaps there is a majority of clubs in favour of reconstruction.
  8. I don't know if he'd picked up an injury but I see Gorrin was substituted at half-time while on a booking. Sounds familiar.
  9. I wonder how many of these Scottish Protestants Against Discrimination are actually members of a church. I'm guessing none of them and the organisation is just a very thinly veiled way of coming out with some anti-Celtic/Catholic bigotry.
  10. I'm expecting to see McGinley to line up beside Gallagher but we may have to wait on that until Carroll is back.
  11. I take it Carroll is still injured. Anyone know when he's expected back? Is Gallagher injured? Seems strange he wasn't playing.
  12. Following recommendations and a discussion on here a few weeks ago (sorry, can't remember who it was) and popped into Fyne Ales yesterday and got my first mini-cask. Enjoyed it last night and will finish off tonight. Definitely different from the bottles and will probably try again next time I'm coming for a break up this way.
  13. The Record has the article written by Keith Jackson and Scott Burns which I take to mean the story has come from Burns and Jackson is also putting his name to it and has added in a few extra references to Celtic.
  14. Are Hearts fans taking it in turns every night to go over the same argument or is it the same guy using different names just to laugh at getting response? Maybe the OP could add the reasons why the season couldn't be finished to their post and the next bampot can be directed to it and save the thread from another night of pish. Who am I kidding? They're not going to listen to reason, are they?
  15. When he hasn't really had the chance to prove his return to form and fitness, I'm concerned they'll be chancing a cut-price bid.
  16. I'll give it a listen. It sounds as though it should be made compulsory listening for their pundits before they go on the shows at the weekend but I'm sure they'll come out with the same guff.
  17. The pubs should be open by then. I've got a feeling the pubs near me (I don't live in Motherwell) won't be rammed with folk wanting to watch Ross County v Motherwell on a Monday night).
  18. The headline is stepping down but, more accurately, he's not standing for re-election which I think is pretty common. There's normally a bit of a change in personnel each year.
  19. What games are we likely to be on Sky? Ross County and Hibs away on August 3rd and 15th are confirmed on the club website. Any others?
  20. I might be answering my own question here but was sponsoring Clydebank before or after they lost the plot and became coke heads (well, Marti anyway)?
  21. What a challenge from the Exeter keeper! I assume Long is away if we're in for Lang which is a pity as they could have done the Calm Down Scousers from the Fast Show.
  22. She should just have walked out at the starting the car comments.
  23. I think Bill Leckie needs to have a word with his fellow St. Mirren supporter Chick.
