  1. I've just watched Sportscene- was Tait playing left back?
  2. Always fancied watching Closer and got round to it tonight. Always liked Clive Owen and the lovely Natalie Portman, less so Julia Roberts and even less so Jude Law but thought they were all very good in it. 7/10 and not sure music in strip clubs is good as that (and Clive Owen must have had quite an eyefull in the strip club scenes).
  3. Finishing off the evening by moving onto the stronger and trusted flavours of Broughton's Old Jock fighting against a Bowmore 12yo- lovely! Good night.
  4. Enjoyed an Arran Blonde and a Lagunitas (both nice crisp flavours) and now onto a Pale Keith with a Bunnahabhain 12 on the side. Never heard of Keith Brewery before. Hmm, not sure - a bit on the dry side for me.
  5. Surprisingly 1995 photo isn't as much as a sweaty mess although there does seem to be more talent. Maybe it was taken earlier in the evening. Tattoos were fairly unusual in those days and mostly confined to certain groups. I only knew a folk with one in those days, nothing like as common as they are now.
  6. As a Motherwell fan, I can tell you that I, and the folk I go to the games with, couldn't care less about 10iar (I don't even like that term). The only interest I have will be in laughing at whoever fails.
  7. If three of them are playing there's a good chance the other two will come on as subs as it's up front where we're often looking to change things.
  8. Fortunately Lang and Long sound really different as well so the BBC website can have a field day with interviews.
  9. I installed Tapatalk after having the same issue and it's now playing up by not showing some photos (even some I uploaded myself). Any suggestions?
  10. Tin Man Tropical IPA from William Bros. Very nice, a bit floral without taking it too far. Cranachan Killer from Fierce. Didn't know what to expect but really like it. Nice sharp raspberry flavour and then I was caught by surprise by the cream aftertaste. Had to stop my wife from claiming it and she doesn't normally like beer!
  11. I'm assuming that Lang hasn't had a proper pre-season (although he has been training with us for a few weeks) so won't be anywhere near starting for a while yet. Maybe the odd sub appearance.
  12. Doctor Manhattan beat me to it regarding Dom Thomas. Glad to hear he's doing well for you and has found his level.
  13. I did think that didn't sound right but couldn't be arsed checking.
  14. They did say fairly soon afterwards that they were talking before the show about Hibs winning an all Championship final and they were also well aware of ICT's win over Falkirk. It sounds as though they were trying to get a response out of the listeners to get some chat going but just came across a bit daft.
  15. I would have thought Sam Cosgrove to be more likely. Proven goalscorer in Premiership, fee required already established and he didn't fancy going to France but you would assume that he does see Rangers as a step up from Aberdeen.
  16. I think I said before that it was looking as though we could be a threat from set-pieces as we were bringing in a fair bit of height and that seems to have been the case in these bounce games. Hopefully we'll be able to combine that with creativity from open play as well (this is meant as a general comment and not a Well Fans III style meltdown [emoji6]).
  17. Yeah, I saw the Che Guava lager was William Bros. but I mistakenly thought all of the ones I had picked up were also. I have to say though, the two from Tempest were really good.
  18. Cheers. I remember Chequers (was only in it once or twice though) so I've placed it now thanks.
  19. I've not been out in Hamilton town centre in a long while- where's Manhattan? Did it used to go by another name?
  20. I enjoyed the music but the whole idea of labelling it as a genre seemed absolute made-up bullshit.
  21. I mistakenly thought they were Williams Bros. The Brewgooder Moyo Juice was a poor relation of Drygate's Mango Fork Lift Juice but Tempest Brewing excelled themselves. Vermont Sessions was lovely and their NZ Long White Cloud was exceptional - I really need to find bucket loads of it.
  22. I'm going to start making my way through this selection I picked up from Aldi during their craft beer week. First up, the Che Guava Radical Lager. Quite sweet and floral. Nice but I couldn't drink a lot of it.
  23. It was late afternoon and I only went into the shop. They had temperature checks at the entrance and the guy on the door said their capacity was slashed.
  24. I visited Oban today. Nice of them to put the distillery in the town centre. It would almost be rude not to- I'll let you know my thoughts when I open it later.
