  1. Joma have been decent the last couple of years, strip and leisure wear, Airdrie will still be with them this season I believe, Agree the Morton kits look fine, compared to previous efforts.
  2. As already stated it is pretty pointless, but I will give it a go..... 1. Livingston 2. Partick Thistle 3. Ayr 4. Raith 5. Falkirk 6. Dunfermline 7. Queens Park 8. Airdrie 9. Hamilton 10. Morton Livvy have signed well so far, and look to me as if they credentials to go back up.. Although many think they will drop like a stone..

  4. Personally I think Fordyce going is a lot more than just being a very good defender... dycey never missed training and took a lot of it, was very successful with his set piece training and popular with the players, Rhys often was late for training due to his coaching school,,, was never convinced in his role as Assistant Manager I always thought it was more of way to get a slightly higher wage than anything too constructive, not a criticism just my take on it.... ATS is the brains behind the current setup and and Rhys leans on ATS a lot during games and is the only qualified coach at the club, and if it wasn't for the bold ATS we wouldn't have hit Bronze status as a club, Rhys has had 2 seasons to sit and pass this standard coaching badges (seems to be a bit of a non badge of honour looking at recent tweets with his consilium buddy). The club really need to pull rank here and ensure he completes this course ( been on 2 I believe and not completed so I hear).. Hopefully some signing news soon, interestingly signings by other sides so far have been 2 year deals, surely tieing down Frizz, Telfer and Ballantyne who are our core are more important than Gallagher and McGregor or does it depend on the narrative the club are trying to project..
  5. Would not be surprised if Fordyce ends up at Raith , he was what they lacked, one of the main differences between the sides was our ability to play from the back, Fordyce did this with ease, Murray who unfairly IMO is deemed as some sort of tactical imbecile, if rumour has it, he has pulled this move off, with possibly more to come, surely Murray won't be knocking on the door for Ballantyne and Telfer..... Surely not......
  6. They are clearly trying for the league to become a closed shop, we need Raith to win this playoff , alright Ross County will no doubt buy the league next season and all us mere mortals will have to fight for the scraps , Raith I hope have no intention of going to 'Grass' and they can fight this from within ...
  7. Joe McKee struggled for many sides in League 1 , dropped to League 2 and found his level, happy for the lad.. We are 2 leagues above his level now, he is a very poor man's Charlie Telfer...
  8. For a team that was knocking on the door of the Premier League, Part time players are now , the market we are looking at... If we were a mid table League 1 side then fair enough, there is a massive jump to the Championship, hopefully Rhys can keep our core and move us forward,
  9. Both were outstanding, Telfer showed how good a midfield player he is, a player we must keep for this season, Good players don't come cheap though and to keep the likes of ChaZ and Frizz we might have to break our wage structure, are we prepared to do so....
  10. Surely even accies couldn't screw this up now.... Well....
  11. Delighted for you guys, Playoffs are never easy and what I hear like the Rovers last season you should have been knowhere near them, but you stood up when it counted.. Enjoy your night and the rest of the summer...
  12. Is Dowds still under contract next season, he seems to have been ok at Ayr although most of his goals have came against us, surprised eh, when you see the crazy goals we lose, 2 at least in the playoffs were avoidable due to simple marking or awareness..
  13. Unlucky guys, a helluva gutsy effort against a team we will all be facing again next season, Playoff football is what it's all about ups and downs... Enjoy your break ya luvvies cannts
  14. This is maybe picking off some old scabs, but Airdrie were the first ,to go, We went straight to the Provisional Liquidation ultimately liquidated, All other teams since then apart from Rangers went into Administration, Dundee, Motherwell , Falkirk etc was Administration the route we should have went down instead of Prov Liquidation, to me it's a bit of a minefield...
  15. Heard tonight that we will be one of the seeded teams for the group stages of the viaplay cup, so no premier scalp for us this season....
  16. When did things start to go wrong at Hibs, was it roundabout the time Jack Ross. Was caught pumping the physio..
  17. Agree about Telfer although with him being the goto guy all season, the playmaker, chance creater, but with the manager yanking him with half an hour to go on Friday night, leaving on a fellow midfielder who was having a stinker, as we tried to get back in the game, Footballers have egos and I would think that would have hurt.... I suppose bringing on 2 19 year olds suited the narrative..
  18. POTY...TELFER YPOTY.... HANCOCK Goal of Season... Plenty to choose from, a player I criticise a lot, but Liam McStravick in the Cup final... We needed that goal and it ignited the whole support.
  19. Well they have been in the Premier for years, , I would say yes they are bigger but on the slide ...
  20. Right you enough FFS, our fanbase have got no finger nails left as it is, without making up permutations, the one I heard today was Rhys to Livi, Martindale going upstairs, and Rhys and chipper to take on the world, no issues with coaching badges with them already dripping off Martindale and chipper... Airdrie in return will appoint ,'housewives' favourite Bryan Prunty who also doesn't have any badges.... Onwards and upwards
  21. Would think Ian Murray would find the Hibs gig hard to turn down if offered, Hibs are embarrassing enough without appointing a manager ,(McCabe) who is unable to manage in the Premier League due to not having the relevant coaching badges..
  22. McCabe is still in my opinion one of the best players in the league, a 70 % fit Rhys would have given so much more than McMaster in the first half on Friday, to me Rhys is fattening Deano up, on a winning front foot team Deano is great flip it over and he struggles badly, to me he seems to have a bit of the Scott Stewart's about him.
  23. What's happened to Player of the Year voting, season finished, players away, This of all years would have been an interesting vote..
